Chapter 58: Neither

"I love you." He said and kissed me again.

I pulled back and fell back down. Taking another swig. He dumped out his bag and opened another bottle a stack of money fell out and I grabbed it.

"Why did you get this?" I asked holding the money.

He shrugged his shoulders and took another swig.

"Well I'm gonna make it rain." I said standing up and throwing the cash in the air as it fell down beside me. Garrett got down and rolled around in the leaves and money I joined him.

"We are drunk." He yelled.

"So drunk" I added.

Then we heard a moan.

"Great." I said getting up.

I went over to the walker stumbling a bit. It was by the road and I pushed it in the middle and smashed it's head in. I heard a small rumble and looked down the road to see headlights.

"Garrett!" I yelled.

He came out of the woods and saw the same thing I did.

"Just leave them, we are too far gone anyway." He said pulling me back into the woods.

"Carl helped. We went and picked it out together. Then I had him keep an eye on you while I went to get it." He said.

"Well then we have to go find him." I said as I slipped on the bracelet.

I grabbed his hand and we walked out. Carl was cleaning his gun.

"CARL!!" I screamed and ran over tackling him in a hug.

"Whoa, excited much?!" He said laughing.

I giggled.

"Oh so do you like it?" He asked pointing to the bracelet.

"I love it!" I said hugging him again.

"I don't know." I said quietly. "Dammit Carl why do you have to make me do this!" I yelled.

"Do what?"

"This, everything.. Ok. I ran away because I can't handle it. There's just something about you I-I just don't know, and I don't care anymore!"
