Chapter 11

"Hello?" he said. "Amanda?" he waved his hand to try to get my attention. Then I snapped back to reality.

"O-oh my god!" I laughed. "Ricky? Is that you?" I asked. Ricky was my brother's best friend. They had been best friends since they were in kindergarten. Ricky was like another brother to me. When him and Jacob moved to Chicago together, we'd lost touch.

"Yeah... yeah it's me." he smiled, and ran a hand through his hair. "Here's your drinks, by the way." he handed us our drinks and Jake payed.

"Thanks." I grinned. "Hey, Ricky, you should come over after school, and we can talk. Everybody would be thrilled to see you again, especially after 6 years." I sighed.

"Yeah, sure. Same house?" he asked. I nodded. "Okay, and i'll bring Jacob. See you guys later." he smiled. I waved as we drove off.

"Who was that?" Jake asked.

"Oh, that was Jacob's best friend. Ricky and I are really close, and I haven't seen him in 6 years!!" I explained. "I'll introduce you guys later." I smiled. He nodded and we took a sip of our drinks. My stomach bounced as I realized I was finally going to see my brother again. I missed him so much, and whenever we talked on the phone, it would only be brief because he was really busy.

"Ok." he grinned. We pulled up to the school parking lot and got out of the car. He laced his fingers with mine and we walked to our usual meeting spot with Chloe and Evan. They were still dating and as in love as they were when they first met.

"Chloe!" I smiled as she skipped up to us, Evan being dragged behind her, chuckling.

"Hey, Manda-Bear." she chirped and gave me a bone crushing hug. I fake choked and she laughed. "Jake." she bowed down and he shook his head laughing.

"Hello Chloe." he answered. "Hey man, what's up?" he said to Evan. Over the time they've known each other, they've become really close. We headed inside after a while of talking, and the bell rang. We said by to Chloe and Evan, and headed to our first period class, History. I loved my History teacher, Mrs. Rubins. She didn't care about passing notes, she let us have out our phones, and she made History fun. She was by far the best teacher at Greenway High. (A/N actual high school in Phoenix... I looked it up haha)

The day passed by fast, really fast, actually. We didn't really do anything, and we had a party in 4th period, which was awesome. We graduate tonight, and I'm really nervous. I wonder how my life will be when I move out...

After school, we rushed home so we could meet Ricky and Jacob before they got there. We got home, and I was relieved when they weren't there. Me and Jake climbed the stairs up to my room and put our backpacks down. I sat on the bed and Jake followed. I was destracted with the locket on my neck, and I didn't here Jake ask me what was wrong.

"Amanda...?" Jake waved his hand in front of my face. I looked up.

"I'm sorry, what's up?" I asked. I continued to fiddle with my necklace. I was so nervous about seeing my brother again.

Jake took my hands in his. "What's wrong, teddy bear?" I smiled at his ridiculously stupid nickname for me.

"Jake, I'm really nervous about seeing him again. What if he doesn't have anything to say? What if things are awkward? What if he leaves again? What if-" I was cut off of my rambling when Jake smashed his lips onto mine. He kissed me softly at first, but then he deepened the kiss. He slid his tongue into my mouth and took dominance. I tangled my hands in his hair and his hands wrapped around my waist. He pulled me up into his lap while still kissing me. I moaned and so did he.

"Manda?" I heard someone downstairs say. "Are you here?" asked another. The voices belonged to none other than to Ricky and Jacob. Before me and Jake could pull apart, Jacob and Ricky burst into the room.

Jacob gasped playfully. "Amanda!" he smiled. "Shame on y-".

"JACOB!!!" I screamed. I ran off the bed and fell onto the floor, but got up quickly and jumped onto Jacob, makig him fall onto my floor. He chuckled and returned my hug. I cried into his shoulder. I missed him so much, I couldn't believe he was back. "I-I-I missed y-you so m-much!!" I sobbed. I kissed his cheeks and didn't let him go for several minutes. I pulled back, and my cheeks and his cheeks were stained with tears. His kissed the top of my head and swung me around.

"I missed you, princess." he smiled. "I heard your graduation was tonight, so we flew down on Sunday and stayed at a hotel for the 5 days left until today. Ricky found a job at Starbucks and I found a job at Tilly's." he told me.

I looked at Ricky, and realized I haven't given him a hug yet. I ran up and jumped on him too. "Ricky!!!" I screamed. "I missed you too!!" I giggled at his surprised face. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me.

"I missed ya, Thing 1." he smiled. He called me and Chloe Thing 1 and Thing 2 because before they left, we used to be crazy and do stupid things. Hell, we still do.

"Hahaha!" I laughed. I pulled back and I smiled at the both of them. I turned to Jake and grabbed his hand, lacing my fingers with his.

"Jacob, Ricky, this is Jake...my boyfriend." I smiled up at him and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Awwwe, my Manda is all grown up!" Jacob fake cried into Ricky's shoulder. Ricky patted his back and sniffled. I shook my head at the two stupid asses in front of me. The two stupid asses that I loved dearly, and wouldn't be able to live without.

Just then, a question popped into my head. "Hey, guys?" they looked up at me. "When will you guys be leaving?" I asked.

They looked at each other. "Well, we thought about this and..." they paused. ".. we were thinking... never?" they asked me, a grin on their faces. I looked at them, then Jake, then back at them before it all sunk in.

"You mean you aren't going back to Chicago?!" I screamed. I started crying happy tears. I was so happy, I couldn't believe it. I was so happy. They enveloped me in a hug and we all cried together. When we finished, I looked at the time. 4:30pm.

"Ah, shit." I cursed under my breath. "Uh, guys, we have to get ready. We only have 2 and a half hours until the graduation. You go get ready, and so will we." I told them. They nodded but didn't move. "Uh guys, go get ready!" I told them.

"Manda, we have something to tell you." Ricky said, and Jake nodded.

"Ok, what is it?" I asked, feeling a knot in my stomach. Oh god, what was it? I hope it wasn't anything bad. I backed up to Jace and wrapped my arms around his stomach, and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

Ricky and Jacob looked at each other and they smiled nervously at each other.

"Well?..." I said, getting more impatient and nervous by the second.

"Princess, there's no easy way to say this." Jacob told me, looking very nervous.

"Jacob, what is it?" I whispered.

"Me and Ricky are together.".
