Annabeth's POV
Over the next three days I paid close attention to Ashton and I couldn't help but notice how much time she spent with the Stoll twins.
My brain was full of ideas about what could be going on, but I left them to myself as to not start rumors.
Connor's POV
I glanced down at my sweaty palms, and tried to shake away my nerves.
I was called to the Big House. My nerves weren't from my being called to the Big House, my nerves were because I wasn't called alone. Ashton was too.
I jogged up to Cabin 3 and knocked on the door, my hands shaking.
"Looking for someone?" A voice behind me questioned.
I spun around, and met Percy eye to eye. "Yeah, I need Ashton. We've been called to the big house."
Percy took a small step back. "What?"
"I said -"
"I know what you said." He looked grim. "Do you think she's ready?"
"Totally. Besides, I'll protect her." I reassured him.
"What?!" He questions.
"No, not like that, just for you Percy. I'll do it for you." I barely saved my slip-up.
He looks relieved. "Thanks, man." And with that he walked away.
I turned, and knocked on the door again, this time Ashton answered.
"Yeah?" She asks.
"Big house," I purse my lips, "we've been called."
"Oh great." She grabs her shoes, and slide them on. "Let's go."
We run up to the big house, hoping we won't be too late. When we arrive, Chiron was sitting in his wheel chair on the front porch.
"Hey Chiron." I say as we hop up the steps.
"Hello." He gives us a small smile. "I have some big news for you two." His smile quickly changes to a frown. "You've been selected to go on a quest."

'kay, so lot's going on. I've been writing shorter chapters, hoping to just squeeze them in here and there - sorry! In-between my regular school work, Spanish, youth group, and just running errands :p, i've been really busy.
I hope I can update more - and thanks Phoenix500 for giving me the idea to send them on a quest!
