"Girls," Liam called. "Can you come out here please?"

It was two hours after the family meeting, and the girls were in the music room, mucking around with the instruments. Together they made their way into the living room, laughing at something. The younger girls sat down on the couch and Jeni draped herself over them lazily, resting her head on the arm of the couch.

"What's up Doc?" Jeni asked in a Bugs Bunny voice, sending her sisters into more laughter.

"I wasn't aware that you had even seen Bugs Bunny," Liam commented.

"Yeah, Zayn and I watched it last night."

Liam nodded, glancing at his watch. The boys all filed in, watching the girls carefully.

"At ten thirty, we've  got a doctor coming. She's going to give you girls a check-up and make sure everything is okay."

They expected a fight, but the girls shrugged.

"We've been here for sixteen days already, we were expecting it."

"And we wanna go to the beach tomorrow so we were thinking we could make a deal," Ali piped up. Jasmine nodded, finally speaking.

"If we don't assassinate your doctor, we get to go to the beach."

"Deal?" Three voices rose hopefully as they fixed the boys with puppy dog eyes.

"Hell," Harry replied. "If you guys behave – not just tolerate her, behave – we'll take you to the beach for a long weekend."

Everyone made enthusiastic sounds at Harry's promise, the girls bursting into excitable chatter. The boys didn't stop them from talking until Niall glanced at his watch and realized that the doctor would be due any minute. He slipped out of the room, leaving the girls chattering excitedly with the boys about the beach trip. As soon as he opened the front door, he saw the doctor walking up the front porch steps.

"Doctor Hayley," Niall said. "Thanks for coming."

He showed her into the study and left her to set up her laptop and equipment as he got her a glass of water. Once he returned to the study, he led her into the living room where the girls were debating the pros and cons of owning a pet rabbit.

"Girls," Niall said, interrupting them.

"Just a second Luke, we're trying to remember what a rabbit's feet are called."

"Paws?" Doctor Hayley suggested. Everyone in the room thought for a second, before nodding. Looking up, Jasmine half-stood before noticing the stranger in the room and throwing herself at Harry.

"Who the fuck are you?" Ali blurted.

"Alicia! Rude," Louis commented.

"Legitimate question though. Answer?" Jeni turned to the doctor.

"Girlies, this is Doctor Hayley. Doctor, this is - what?"

He flinched at the three glares directed at him. "What did I do?"

"Liam," Alicia asked. "Can you explain to Luke what the problem is?"

"Niall, don't call them girlies," Liam sighed.

Looking confused, Niall nodded and introduced the girls. After the introduction, Jasmine, still sitting on Harry, raised her hand slightly.

"Question," she said. "Is Hayley your first name, or last?"

"Last," the doctor said. "My first name is Lara. Any other questions?"

As everyone shook their heads, the doctor smiled.
