Chapter Cinco

"That shit's gotta change, I'm not a KITTY! I hate cats!"
"Channaynay!" Sophie gasped. She was a huge cat person, a possible future cat lady in fact.
"Well it's true." Channa glared a little at Rian, and barked. It took Rian aback.
"What the fuck was that shit?" She asked with a laugh.
"I think you're supposed to take the hint Ri," Sophie said, still very peeved off. Channa nodded in agreement.
"Alright alright," Rian held up her hands in defense,"fine. Hand me my phone."
Channa did. Rian began to type things into it, a minute later handing it back to Channa.
"There. Now give me your phone," Rian said. Channa handed over her cell. Ten seconds later, the screen lit up in Channa's hand.

~'Boo Boo Puppy Fuck' is calling~

Followed by the very subtle ringtone:

"Ohh me so horny, o-oh so horny! Ohh me so horny, me love you long time!"

"You're an asshole."
Rian grinned a mile wide in return. "You said you wanted a change."
Channa took her phone away from Rian, tossing hers back onto her lap, and flipped her middle finger up.
"I'm going to bed," Channa muttered, leaving the room once more. "Night, Bitch."
"Love ya too!" Rian sang. Channa groaned faintly, the sound of her room door shutting echoed throughout the house. Rian looked over at Sophie, who was in her usual wheezing hysterics.
"You are too much Ri."
"It's what I do," she shrugged.

Sunlight brightened the living room, lighting up the area around Sophie's squinty eyes. She groaned, and tugged the blankets higher over her face. Fuck mornings.
It wasn't long though, before she smelled the eggs and heard the sound of oil sizzling in a pan.
Elizabeth was here. Sophie had heard her come in earlier, but ignored the slight disturbance and fell back asleep. She thought it was sweet how Lizzie respected Channa's boundaries about moving in together so soon, and she thought it was absolutely adorable how she had showed at the crack of dawn every morning for the past four months just to make breakfast for Channa and see her off to work.
And just like clockwork, Channa's footsteps came clicking down the hall, through the living room, and finally into the kitchen, where Elizabeth stood in her purple jogging shorts, her long black hair pulled back into a ponytail. She beamed at Channa, holding a couple egg burritos already wrapped in foil on a plate.
"Good morning," Channa greeted her with a peck on the lips. "For me?"
"Of course," Elizabeth said, handing Channa one of the burritos, and packed the other into Channa's black lunch bag. "I also put extra napkins and an orange juice in there."
"Thanks for the food babe. You look gorgeous."
"Ugh no I don't. I'm all sweaty," Elizabeth frowned.
"Don't even worry about it," Channa said, kissing Elizabeth again, lingering longer than she had previously. She broke away and gathered up her things, and started for the front door. "Lunch at 1?"
"Sure!" Lizzie called from the kitchen doorway. "I love you!"
"Love you too!" The front door closed, and Elizabeth walked over to the window, running shoes squeaking on the dark wood floors. She watched with a flutter in her heart, as Channa's pearl white car reversed out of her parking spot and drove away. Once she was out of sight, Lizzie smiled to herself and walked back into the kitchen to start on the bacon. She always made the pork products after her girlfriend had left, due to the fact that Channa refused to eat or smell cute little piggy flesh cooking on the stove. But Lizzie didn't consume pork either. Instead, she was cooking them for Channa's best friend Rian, who was an avid pork eater much to Channa's disgust.
About twenty minutes later, Elizabeth knocked on Rian's door.
"Come in," Rian called. She'd been up before Elizabeth arrived, and was writing another poem.
Elizabeth popped her head in, "Good morning Rian."
"Morning Lizzie." Elizabeth could see Rian was a bit distracted.
"I made you breakfast, it's in the microwave. I'm going to finish my workout now, bye!"
"Thanks Liz, that's real nice of you. I'll see ya later." Rian gave her a quick smile, and turned back to her work.
Lizzie shut the door quietly, and soon the front door opened and closed as well.
Rian actually liked Elizabeth. She didn't create any unnecessary drama, or stress Channa nearly to insanity like most of the others had.
Rian really hoped Lizzie was the one Channa had been waiting for, because she could see Elizabeth wasn't bonkers, and Rian really dug that. Well, she hoped nothing went wrong at least. One thing was for certain though: Everyone definitely did not want a repeat of last year, when Channa's last girlfriend tried to choke Rian out in her sleep with one of Sophie's thongs.
