"Ri-Gay!"

"Miran-douche!"

Rian's cousin had yanked her into a bone crushing hug when she'd opened the door and now her cousin's latest Justin Bieber perfume was choking the hell out of her.

"It's been so long!"

"Yeah it's been a minute." Rian coughed. She pulled back and took a good look at her cousin. Miranda was still the same: tall, thick thighs, slim waist, and long, straight, golden brown hair. The only thing different was her nose, which was smaller and cuter now.

I guess making that kind of money can do a lot for someone.

"Sophie, it's just Miranda! You can stop hiding now!" She returned her attention back to Miranda. "What brings you to our neck of the woods, anyway? I didn't know you knew where I lived."

"I called your mom." Mir shrugged,  fixing her jean shorts. "Was she really hiding?"

"'fraid so." Sophie frowned, coming up behind her bestie. "I have a lot of stalkers." Miranda's eyes widened a tad as she examined Sophie top to bottom then back again. She chuckled.

"I had a feeling you were a lesbian, Rian."

"What? No, I'm not." Rian turned to look at Sophie who still hadn't put any pants on. Mickey Mouse boxers didn't count.

Jesus.

"C'mon Rian. Lesbi-honest."

"Eat a dick, Mirandouche."

"Only if it's Justin's." She punctuated with a fast flick of her tongue. Sophie wheezed with laughter while Rian struggled to fight off her's. Miranda hadn't changed at all.

"So..." Rian began after each of them had had their fair share of giggles. "How's the ass modeling business?"

"...hurry up and meet us at Denny's after work, you little ho-oe!"

The voicemail her cousin had left, ended as quickly as it began. And Rian only had one thing on her mind in that moment...

Chicken fucking strips BITCH YAAAASSSSSSS!

Rian started up her baby and drove out onto the street already salivating at the delectable notion of dunking crispy chicken strips in cool, buttermilk ranch. Gosh, I'm such a fatass.

She drove and drove, passing through the industrial area. A sudden slight chill crawled down her spine. She didn't know exactly what was so creepy about these buildings, but they seemed to remind her of tombs. She blamed the comparison on the lack of folk.

Then again, she didn't want to know if anybody was skulking around out there. It was better to remain ignorant about such information.

Five minutes passed and now Rian was crossing over a bridge that descended deep into the blackness of the fields. Her excited expression diminished at the sight of the trees towering over her vehicle. She had entered the landscape of nightmares once more.

And once again, it was only her and the moon.

It had been awhile since she'd driven down this road. And she certainly didn't expect what was waiting for her around the bend.

"Cain...?"

Hopefully this chapter was a little better than the last. Sorry again about the length. Back to my tunes 😁
