Chapter XXII: Prom?

"The number of signatures we obtained is..."

He looks around at everyone.

"748!"

Thank goodness we got enough! Everyone, including me starts cheering. I kiss Levi much to his surprise, he blushes slightly and I hug him.

"You know what?" I look him, still holding him and grinning as the people around us celebrate.

"What?" He questions.

"I love you," I say rubbing my nose against his.

His pale cheeks go slightly redder. This boy is adorable and I realize that I don't ever want to let him go. Everyone else around us is celebrating with their partner, Armin and Erwin are hugging, Krista and Ymir are kissing quite intensely. Marco and Jean left, I saw them earlier, I wonder where they are.

"Hey Eren?" Levi asks me.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Who are you going to prom with?" he asks smirking.

I frown but then smirk back, he raises his eyebrow and I look over at Armin. He makes eye contact with me and nods. I let go of Levi but then grab his wrist and guide him over to our blonde friends. Armin gives me the stack of signatures and I hold it out to Levi. He looks at me confused but takes the stack and looks at it.

The top page about seventeen lines down it says,

"Levi"

He looks up at me squinting, trying to figure out what I'm up to. I motion for him to turn the page.

"Will"

He looks up again and I urge him on.

"You"

"Go"

"To"

"Prom"

"With"

"Me?"

He looks up at me and I smile, he slams the stack into Armin's chest and kisses me passionately. We don't stop until Erwin clears his throat. He gives me a small smile.

"I'll take that as a yes?" I ask grinning.

"Obviously," he responds.

"Awe you guys are so adorable!" Hanji squeals as Erwin and Armin grin at us.

"Piss off four-eyes," Levi says glaring at her, but not harshly.

The rest of us laugh and go and celebrate with the rest of our group.

Prom is in a couple hours and Levi and I are just relaxing on my bed with our outfits in front of us laid out on the end of the bed. He is reading something on his phone and I'm texting everyone making sure they're ready.

Hanji: So is Levi gonna wear a dress?
I smile and laugh a little, Levi looks up from his phone and looks over my shoulder. Is face scrunches up as he reads it and then he shakes his head.

"What are you considering wearing a dress? I'm sure Mikasa has one you could borrow, it may be a bit big though," I say playfully.

He glares and moves away from me.

"Hey, I was just kidding," I say shifting over to him hugging him, putting my head on his chest.

He pats my head reluctantly.
