Chapter IX: The Party (part 2)

Previously: Hanji's party consisting of mostly truth or dare with some hilarious outcomes has left Eren and Levi asleep until the next morning.

The next morning I wake up with Levi fast asleep laying on my chest. I must have fallen asleep first. I don't want to wake him and I'm honestly don't have a problem with the position we're in right now. I eventually drift back to sleep.

I wake up for the second time and Levi is no longer there. I yawn and stretch and look around the room. Mikasa is gone I assume it's past ten which means she left for work, I check my phone to find out I was right and Mikasa left me over twenty texts telling me not to worry and to be safe and whatever else. I notice Erwin is gone too and his jacket is now on Armin who is sound asleep right next to me. I stand up to go find bathroom and run into Levi at the bottom of the stair case. I smile a tired smile as I am still waking up. He nods in acknowledgement and I locate the bathroom.

Once I'm done I go back to see Levi still in the same spot. I go and sit down next to him.

"So did you have fun last night?" I ask him.

"Sure," he responds with a shrug.

"I enjoyed spending time with you," I say genuinely, I don't know why said it, it just feels right.

"I did, too," he says quietly.

"I'm glad."

We kinda just sit there and for some reason I'm really nervous. Butterflies in my stomach nervous. I don't know why I just feel like I need to say something and not just anything since I'm the one who normally carries our conversations.

"Hey I just wanted to let you know that I think your an awesome person," I say to him.

He looks at me confused.

"I really just hope that your happy and that you consider me as someone your comfortable with. Maybe even a friend, I don't know I just think you deserve to be happy," I don't know why I'm saying all of this.

He looks down at his feet and says in almost a whisper. "I am happy," then waits a second and says. "With you."

I was shocked at this sudden confession. I don't know how to act or what to say.

"I'm glad and thanks."

"For what?" he asks confused.

"Letting me bug you to no end, forcing you to become friends and all that, I just, I don't know. I like you Levi," I pause after saying that last bit.

What the heck! Oh no he's going to take that the wrong way. Well to be honest it's not a lie. No wait but it's not like I mean to tell him. What's wrong with me, did Hanji drug me? I wouldn't put it past her. Oh gosh I gotta clear all this up. C'mon mouth work!

"Sorry," I say quickly, looking down.
Yeah like that's gonna help. Levi is looking at me wide eyed, in shock.

"I, um," I try to say words but nothing is working.

Levi puts his hand on my shoulder and I look him directly in the face, shocked at the sudden physical contact.

"I, uh."

"Shut up," he says.

Then his moves in closer to my face and kisses me!

Oh my gosh! My brain is freaking out. I have lost my ability to even. I manage to come back to my senses enough to kiss back a bit before he pulls away. He goes back to looking at his feet and I just look at him in shock.

"I like you, too," he says even quieter than before.

I take a few seconds to fully process what he said and words cannot express how I feel. I pull him  into a huge hug. I feel him stiffen but then relax a bit. Once I break the hug, I take his hands, look him in the face and ask in the most serious voice I can muster.

"Levi will you go out with me?" Yeah definitely on drugs but at this point any self control I have is gone.

He looks at me for a second, rolls his eyes and says in response. "Obviously."

Well then, that was both unexpected and if I had actually planned confess me feelings, I think it has gone better than I would have planned. We both just sit for a few minutes taking in the reality of what had just happened.

"Are you sure?" I say breaking the silence.

"Yes," he says looking at me.

I can see it in his beautiful grey/silver eyes that he is being both serious and honest. Call me childish but I really, really want to kiss him again. I continue to stare and once again he reads my mind. He nods, I move closer to him and kiss him. This time it lasts for a bit longer and I have to say I have never been happier in my life. I have kissed before, a girl was my first and realized I was gay soon after but I've never been in a serious relationship. These two kisses that I have shared with Levi are the best kisses I have ever had. I don't ever want this moment to end. After a couple seconds we hear a loud thud come from kitchen. We both pull away and go investigate the sound.

We see Hanji on the floor of the doorway with a huge smile on her face. She has her hands over her mouth to keep herself from laughing out loud.

"Are you okay," I ask, concerned.

"Yes yes, oh my freckled jesus!" She says giggling as I help her up.

"I'm guessing you saw that right?" I say, my face red Levi just looked irritated with her.

"Yes! Oh my goodness, wait who initiated the first kiss?"

"Levi, why?"

"Oh yes! Erwin owes me twenty bucks," she says punching the air.

"Seriously," Levi says rubbing his forehead.

I take his hand and give him a reassuring look. I thought I might be over stepping my boundaries but he seemed to appreciate it. Hanji continues to fangirl like crazy, well more crazy than usual

"Hey Hanji do you mind not saying anything yet?" I request.

"Of course, of course I'm just so happy! Three ships down, two to go!" She says and leaves, skipping into the living room.

I look at Levi. "Three?" I ask.

"She worked on Aurou and Petra for ages, Jean and Marco, you and me I assume are the others," he responds.

"Oh and the other two... to go?"

"Judging from this morning Erwin and your blonde friend, the other I don't know,"

"I guess we'll have to help her with the first one," I say grinning.

"Yeah," he says in response.

He's already started to talk to me more. Although I shouldn't get my hopes up but this is good. Also Armin and Erwin? I guess we'll see. But seriously I just kissed Levi and now we're going on a date. Oh gosh I have to plan the perfect first date. I cannot believe this is actually happening!

Too fast? I don't know, when I wrote it it was my first time writing something like that. Anyway it was hard to keep from fangirling even when editing. I hope you guys liked it, tell me your thoughts and thanks for reading.

FYI: just as an aside I don't really know if I ship Erwin and Armin. I just don't really like any other Armin ship and my little coconut deserves to be happy.
