Caleb led me upstairs to a room. That room was tiny compared to the one I had on Planet Venker.
"Here's your room. Take some rest. Dinner will be ready soon." He said and went downstairs.
I opened my bag. It was filled with......rectangular pieces of paper! And where was the lot of money Robert was talking about? I couldn't see pieces of gold anywhere. I picked up one of the pieces of paper and tried to read what was written on it.
"100 dollars." I said aloud.
And then it hit me. Humans used paper as currency. Ok, so that proved humans are weird. Who uses paper as currency?!
I opened another zip of my bag. This one had a CD, headphones and a laptop. What was this CD about? A thought came in my mind. "You'll learn about your powers through the CD given to you." Robert had said. Was he really saying the truth? I didn't know. All I knew was that this was too much for a night. I needed some sleep. I went downstairs to have some dinner.
