His eyes shot daggers at me; daggers that shot straight through me. His voice echoed through my body, shattering my bones with the words he aimed at me. His fists were clenched by his side and beads of sweat dripped from his forehead, he lifted his head and faced me once more. His wavy dark red hair danced in the wind. He seemed unaffected by his hair covering his eyes, he just continued to move closer.

The shadows that followed him stayed close behind and protected him from whatever may want to cause him harm.

Nothing about him made sense. The way his shadows stuck to him, and the way his voice caused pain to anyone who heard it. The way his piercing emerald eyes could stare into your soul and read your darkest secrets.

I guess that was why she wanted him first. I guess that's why the vision showed me the fight he would soon put up to protect his powers, and to protect himself.
