Toby and I are on the way to my parents to pick up the kids. The last two years were amazing. Ava had met her Dad finally. Toby and I got back together. Austin was born and Toby proposted to me. I look at Toby and smile. How could I ever get so lucky?
~At the parents~
We open the door to my parents house and see Ava and Austin playing on the floor together. As they see us Ava runs into my arms and Austin crawls to us. Toby picks him up and kisses him.
"Mommy, Daddy you are back. We missed you."
"We missed you two. Where you two good to Grandma and Grandpa?" My mother walks outside the kitchen and smiles.
"Spencer they are always good. Your Dad and I love when they are here."
"Thanks Mom." She looks at my ring and smiles.
"Is this what I think it is?"
"Yeah Mom Toby proposted to me last night." She comes to me and hugs me.
"Spencer your Dad and I are so proud of you and congrats."
"Thanks Mom but we should really go now." She nods and we say goodbye and left.
