he was going to tell you no matter the consequences.
his fingers shook, and his eyes darted back and forth trying to find an exit.
you approached his way with a smile.
he knew exactly what you were going to say, but he was going to do it anyways. even if his heart breaks.
"hey."
"hey."
you stopped in your tracks seeing something in his eyes.
"i like you."
you smiled and brushed his arm lightly, "aw, i like you too."
"no," he shook his head, "i really like you."
your face dropped and you stared at him. his heart sank at the silence already knowing the answer. you didn't even have to say it out loud.
