he hated when you laughed with matt with your nose scrunching and lips curled upwards. your hand would casually rest on matt's arm.
you never even noticed that he didn't laugh along.
you didn't even seem to notice that he wasn't even smiling. he couldn't bring himself to smile around you anymore.
not when the pain was so unbearable he could barely even look at you. the remains of his shattered heart cried to God to fix.
but when you looked at him, the plea silenced and all he needed was you to notice him.
