"Pick up your feet!" Boreas screamed at Jared. Jared's eye lids dared to close on him as he finished his final lap. "What's going on with you son?"

"I haven't been sleeping well," Jared rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. "It's just been one of those weeks sir."

"Take a ten minute break," Boreas sighed. Jared had been his second best student, Calvin being the best. He hated to see Jared like this especially since he had grown so fond of him over the past five months. Jared sat at the edge of their training grounds and dumped a pitcher of water over his head in an attempt to wake up.

"Heh, not such a big hotshot now, are you?" Zoe stood over him. "Your days of outdoing me are over."

"Would you just shut it?" Jared looked up at her. "Who cares if I'm better than you?"

"I do, and so does my uncle. Power is everything here and if you don't got it than you're not wanted." Zoe glared.

"Ha! That explains why you hate Calvin and me so much. Can't stand being second to anyone can you?" Jared teased. "It's time you got used to that because there's an entire world out there that is much bigger and scarier than you could ever have imagined. Just you wait." Jared stood up and jogged off to spar with Danielle.

"No, you just wait," Zoe mumbled to herself.

"Alright guys! This is an old favorite of mine so don't hold back!" Calvin announced. Boreas had gone off to set up another job for their little team and had placed Calvin in charge of that day's training. "Capture the flag."

"Isn't that a kid's game?" Ambrose asked.

"Yes, but it utilizes strategy which is very important should we ever get involved in a stand-off or do a raid on a camp. We'll do two teams for now but we'll eventually do four. Team captains are Jared and Remy. Choose your teams then come to me when you're done." Calvin went into Boreas's tent to get the flags. After about ten minutes, Jared and Remy walked in as well.

"Got your teams?" Calvin asked.

"I got the winning team," Jared smiled.

"You wish Jared," Remy playfully punched him.

"Our training area will serve as the border between your two territories. Hide your flags no more than two miles from here and hide them well. First team to successfully both guard their flag and bring the enemy's to the border wins. Go to it." Calvin handed them both a map of the area. Before Jared left Calvin caught his arm.

"What's up?" Jared asked.

"You'll be fine right? I know you've been having bad dreams lately and haven't been sleeping well."

"I'm fine and besides, we only have three more months here before we have to split." Jared shrugged him off.

"Three months can also be a long time too Jared."

"Listen, I have to go lead my team to victory so catch ya at the celebration party." Jared left the tent.

A half an hour into the fight, Jared started to nod off.

"Jared wake up!!" Danielle shook him awake.

"Hm?" Jared slowly sat up from behind a boulder.

"We're down another three. They've finally outnumbered us!"

"All while I was napping?"

"To be fair Ambrose didn't follow your order and charged straight in."

"That little! He's working for Remy. I knew there was a reason Remy didn't fight me for him!"

"What do we do now?"
