Well, I thought that last part from the last chapter would be a bit of a turner. But I had one of my friends read it before I published it, and one the main things I was looking for was a reaction from that last sentence. But, from that test, the main focus was the "gift" part from the chapter, which is understandable. I had to explain it to her before she understood... sorry pres_11 XD... anyways, let's go! (Thanks to like, the 3 people who get me XD)

Your Point of View:
"Garroth... t-that was beautiful." I smiled, into his shoulder. He was rubbing my back, and some of the girls in the class were squealing their heads off.
   "It was nothing..."
"Nothing? Garroth..." I looked up at him, "that was truly one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. I can't... I can't believe you did that."
"I can't either." we looked over to our left, and there stood Principal Aphmau. She smiled, looking at us. "That was one of the best presentations I've ever walked into. Did you make that, Garroth?"
"Y-Yes m'am." he stuttered, looking down.
"Garroth." she walked over to us, "There's no need to be so nervous. While I may be the Principal, we're not in my office, nor anywhere else. I must compliment your work. You're very talented, and so determined. Those are traits that not too many people have. And, I'm glad to know you are stepping out of your comfort zone. (F/N)? May I speak with you? You are in no shape or form of trouble."
"Of course." we stepped outside, and she smiled at me, before giggling,
"I may be a Principal, but can I say that was adorable?!" Huh?
"What?" I looked at her. My expression was a mixture of confusion and embarrassment. The last person I expected to see that was my Principal.
"(F/N), how's your journal doing?" she was asking how my journal was doing... was it good, or was it bad? I was a bit concerned.
"I think it's different, but in a good way." I answered truthfully. I wasn't how to explain it.
"I'm glad to hear it. I'm really proud of you, (F/N)."
   "Why is that?"
"Well, for starters, you've seem to have found your own place and position in this crazy world of yours. You've also managed to do something that even shocks me. I'll tell you a story."
   "What's..."
"You've manage to bring forces together that were never once together. You brought together two completely different souls together. One in which shuts out the world, in lives in an independent world, and one who lives with open arms and is prepared to tackle any conflict. But, that kind of companionship comes at a price." I was confused... a price? "I think you'll understand what I mean later. You seem confused. Now, what are you waiting for? A guy in that math class has just given you the nicest gift a guy could possibly make. He deserves another hug."
"No kidding. I'll see you later today Ms. Aphmau."
"See you later, (F/N)." I walked into class, and Garroth was talking to the teacher. He turned around, and smiled. I looked at his shirt. Looks like my tears slightly soaked his shoulder. Oops! The bell rang, and most of the class left, except for Cadenza, Laurence and Dante. I grabbed my binder, and I giggled. Looking at Garroth only made me more curious. But, next we had... gym. Aw man!
                              ~~Time Skip~~
"Hey, (F/N)..." Cadenza pulled my aside, and asked me, "What did you think about the video?"
   "In Math?"
   "Yeah."
"I mean... I loved it. It was truly one of the nicest things anyone other than my family has done for me, and I can't say that about other things. I've never had many of an opportunity to call someone a friend, or a companion. Being able to say about Garroth is kind of a huge deal for someone as anti-social as I am. It honestly means the world knowing he was willing to go out of his way to create something that beautiful, and to say that speech. It really moved me, and I feel really happy that not only him, but all of you were a part of it."
   "That's really nice of you."
"It's the truth. But, we have to go to Agriculture! I'm really excited for the results!" Garroth was talking to... his brother. Oh right! They were partnered up for the project! They walked in, and Cadenza and I followed. She had assigned seating, probably for judging. Cadenza and I were placed across Garroth and Zane. As I looked at Zane, I realized I never got much of a chance to meet him. Maybe later I would.
"Well, if it isn't the O'khasis brothers, Garroth and Zane. What have you come up with?"
"We made vanilla cupcakes with green in them, and instead of using frosting, we used melted white chocolate." Garroth answered. Ms. Smith took a cupcake, and took a bite. She finished it, and smiled,
"Well, it definitely tasted good, and I like the usage of white chocolate. A lot of people used it in their pieces, rather than on top. That was a smart move. Also, can I see the results of others taste tests?"
"Sure, and thanks." Garroth smiled. She turned to us, and tilted her head,
"Well, I haven't seen something like this ever. Care to explain?"
"Sure!" I answered, "We made Grasshopper bark. It has one layer of milk chocolate, one layer of white chocolate that we mixed the green dye in, and a layer of a minty topping made with the white chocolate and mint."
"Can I see the critics first?"
"Sure." Cadenza pulled out her phone, and found the video of the boys. "Here you go." she watched them, and chuckled,
"That was smart, using classmates as critics. Sometimes people around the age you are can be better in some ways. Let me try it." she took a smaller one, and bit into it, "This is quite amazing, actually. It was very creative! This is like some sort of chocolate bar. Nicely done girls!"
"Thanks!" we said at the same time. The rest of class was showing off our creations, and then finally lunch came around. I grabbed mine from my bag, and met up with the rest of the group. We all sat down, and Dante asked us,
   "So, how was the bark?"
"She thought it was awesome." Cadenza answered.
"Great! We talked to Ms. Musa about Battle of the Bands."
   "What did she say?"
"Well, she wanted all of us to meet after school, but 4/5 of us have to go to Football Practice. So, she's going to pull us out of our 8th Period."
"Well, that's convenient. Fortunately, (F/N) and I only have a Free Period." Garroth chuckled, "So I guess we wouldn't have to miss a class."
"You guys are lucky. Debate can be boring sometimes." Cadenza groaned.
"True. It was the only other elective that sounded somewhat OK. Little did we know it was so boring." Dante stuck his tongue out, "Thank goodness we're leaving that class."
   "Yeah!" Cadenza sighed of relief.
