   *It was just a prank!!!* And no, it's not part of the story... XD I posted an actual part on the same day so that I wouldn't feel that bad about pranking you guys... XD Well then... lol But, let's go to this amazing event now! And yes, the beginning of the prank(not the kiss) was actually Laurence's and Cadenza's and Dante's progress... just wanted to point that out!!!

Your Point of View:

   Cadenza was destroying my closet... it was turning into a tornado. Literally, a tornado.
   "Cadenza..."
   "You have to wear the perfect thing!" she pouted.
   "Well, what do you think is perfect?" I asked her.
   "THIS IS PERFECT!" she grabbed a medium gray tank top with a (F/C) star thing on it, and a black skater skirt that still had the tag on it. She told me to try it, and I did. I took the tag off, and put the things on. 
   "How does this look?" I asked her.
   "I love it, but it needs more. What jewelry do you own?" I walked over to my dresser, and picked up a box. I opened the box, and gave it to her. Most of it was bracelets, either cheap or rubber. And then I had a couple necklaces, as well as a few earrings. I also had a (F/C) watch in there. She pulled out a pair of black combat boots, and then she picked out some jewelry as I put on the boots. I folded them, and they looked cool. Then, she gave me some jewelry. I put on the watch, a couple rubber bracelet, and one with (F/C) jewels. Then, she took my other wrist, and put in some more rubber ones, another beaded one, and then she pulled out a bracelet from her bag.
   "We're stopping by the school and giving classes these bracelets." she handed me one. It said The Phoenix Drop, and had our faces on it. I chuckled, and put it on. "This is awesome, Cadenza."
   "The photo company gave us these. There's like, 5000 of them, so we're giving some to the Academy, and then some at Battle of the Bands."
   "Gave you them?"
   "Yep. They loved the YouTube idea, and wanted to support us. Did you see our banner?"
   "No."
   "Well, you should. Maybe on the van. But, we have to do your hair and makeup."
   "OK." we walked into my bathroom, and I grabbed a curling iron. Cadenza curled my hair in an instant(unless your hair is already curly, then it was just... normal? XD), and my makeup was a bit more done than natural. She had put on eye-shadows that were white, beige and brown, and then a bit of eyeliner, and then mascara just on my eyes. On top of that, she used a bit of concealer, blush, other things, and I brushed my teeth before putting on some tinted chap-stick and clear lip gloss. I looked like a pop-star. I laughed, and she squealed,
   "I love it!" she had her hair curled, makeup done, and she wore a spring green dress that went slightly above the knees, a leather jacket, a silver "drop" necklace, and brown ankle length boots. We were supposed to meet the boys at Dante's house, along with Hayden and... my mom was coming as well. My dad would be in the audience later, as he had to work. 
   "So, we're good to go?" I asked her.
   "Yeah, we are. Come on! Let's go!" we walked out, and my mom drove us to Dante's. We got out, and the van was already there. The guys were hauling instruments into the compartment area, and my mom got out.
   "Hey guys!" she called out.
   "Hello Mrs. (L/N)!" Dante smiled. Cadenza and I got out, and Hayden laughed.
   "Did you girls see the van?" he asked us.
   "No, not yet." I walked around, and gasped. It was gorgeous. There was a group photo of us. In the middle with me with my hands on my hips, and my hair looked flawless, then Garroth and Laurence were crossing their arms behind me, then it was Dante and Cadenza behind them.
   "Check the other side!" Laurence shouted. I nodded, and walked to the other side. It was our head-shots, and then our Phoenix Drop sign from Art was on both sides. I backed up, and my face was in the middle, surrounded by a black background. I looked really good in these, and that was saying something.
   "I HAVE TO TAKE PHOTOS." I jumped around, happily.
   "Let's take a photo together!" Cadenza squealed. She got out her phone, and we got in the camera shot. She snapped a photo, before squealing again. "I love it! It's so cool!" I looked once more. Some of the star details, the drops, and other things were around the van... it was so cool!
   "You guys are the best. Thanks for helping with the van." I looked at the boys, smiling.
   "We're glad you like it." Garroth replied.
   "Alright. (M/N), did you bring snacks?" Hayden asked her.
   "Yeah!" she replied, holding up a grocery bag.
   "Sweet! You guys stand next to the van, I'll snap a photo with my phone. Then I can send it to Laurence or Cadenza so that they can share it."
   "Cool!" Dante replied. We all stood in front of the group shot, and we stood in the same order we were in for the actual photo. He snapped a few, before nodding. We opened the door, and went in. "Oh, and Cadenza did interior design!" Hayden added. I looked inside, and I started looking around. Cadenza had little strings attached to some walls of the van, with photos of us. Then, she had some  red seat covers that were really soft. Around the entire van there were some of the details that were in the art project, like the stars, the flames, the CDs, everything! And then she had the snacks in which she put into the little compartments.
   "This looks amazing, Cadenza." Garroth complimented her.
   "I would have to agree." I replied.
   "Thank you, I'm glad you like it!" she smiled. We sat down, and buckled in. 
   "Everyone ready to go?" Hayden asked us.
   "Yeah, we're good to go." Laurence answered.
   "Yay! Let's go!" my mom clapped her hands. We headed off, and we stopped at the school. Did I mention... we're missing Thursday and Friday, because it's supposed to be a 2-day process? We got out, and Cadenza passed us one bag each. Each bag had 1,000 bracelets in it. We were going to split up into groups. Cadenza and I were one group, Dante and Garroth were another, and Laurence went by himself. Principal Aphmau knew we were here, since we send her an email, and Laurence and Cadenza told her beforehand. Cadenza and I were in charge of the upstairs, Garroth and Dante were at the bottom, and Laurence was outside near the mobile classroom. We started rushing up the stairs, and for 15 minutes, we just passed around bracelets, and everyone cheered when we came in. Everyone was wearing a bracelet on the upstairs floor by the time we were done. We rushed downstairs, and Laurence was already there. 
   "I still have hundreds left." he chuckled.
   "We have a ton left, too." Cadenza replied.
   "Ahh!" Dante ran out, "We have like, a MILLION in here still!"
   "Did you go to every classroom?"
   "Yeah. We even gave some to the staff in the offices and in the cafeteria. The janitors even got one." Garroth replied.
   "Awesome! So, I guess we can save these for now!" I commented.
   "If we are famous, these could sell for some good money." Dante snickered jokingly. 
   "Totally." Laurence laughed, alongside Dante.
   "I think we should start heading out now." Cadenza rolled her eyes, before smiling, "I want to see what the hotel has to offer."
   "That's true." Dante ran out, "LET'S GO!" we all dashed out, and into the van. We drove out, and then we all started talking for a bit.
   "So, what do you think the hotel they reserved is gonna look like?" Cadenza asked us.
   "Hopefully it's nice, rather than just some... weird thing." I answered. "I'm sure it's going to be really nice if it's supposed to be a huge thing, like we've heard." 
   "I'm going to look it up on my phone." Laurence took out his phone, unlocking it. He typed a little thing, before pressing enter. "WHOA. The hotel is HUGE!" he gave the phone to me, and I looked at it. The front was really, REALLY fancy. And then it had a fountain. I scrolled across the photos, and there was a really big lounging area, and then a huge dining hall, and then... what I assumed was the stage. There were at least thousands of seats in that stage, and then on the hotel's website there was a sale going on for tickets to Battle of the Bands. This was a really big event... wasn't it? I passed the phone to Cadenza, and she gasped, as I gulped. I think the rush of nervousness hit me. I could feel myself sweating. It was still morning, so I had all day to be nervous. Now was not the time to be nervous. 
   "(F/N)... are you OK?" Dante asked me. Dang it.
   "I think realization hit me..." I sighed. "How many people are going to be there?"
   "According to the website, the stage area they reserved seats 12,250 people. But, I think they want to move it to the main stage... meaning they could seat up to...  100,000 people." Cadenza commented.
   "No way." Garroth whispered.
   "100,000...?" I shook... "That's... that's a LOT of people." I whispered. "That's not nearly as much as school. Oh my gosh... I'm really nervous now." I groaned, "GAH!"
   "Hey, we'll be fine." Laurence assured me, "We're already this far, right? We passed through school auditions."
   "B-B-But... 100,000... the school only has what, 1,000 people?" I whispered.
   "(F/N)... it's going to be OK. We've gone through so much together as a group... this is just another one of those times. If we don't have as much support as the school, we have each other, that's all that matters here. All of us are going to be on that stage, your parents and our parents have seats in the audience..." Cadenza commented,
   "We're all going to be there for each other, no matter what." Laurence finished. "I say we go out there, and do the best that we can. This isn't a competition for us for now... if we get further than maybe. We should take this opportunity to further connect our bond as... as friends."
   "Laurence, you're right." Garroth smiled. "I agree."
   "Me too." Cadenza smiled, "Plus, we're all super close. This is something we can remember as something that was so fun, and so memorable, that it will make us realize what kind of a bond we have."
   "I think what we have now is pretty great." Dante responded.
   "Y-Yeah... I'm just over-thinking things. Thank you guys." I smiled a smaller smile, "It means a lot to know you're there." 
   "Of course we are, and you know where to find us too." Laurence smiled. He took his phone back and closed it, placing back into his pocket.
   "Hey guys, we're only 15 minutes away." my mom smiled.
   "Really?" Dante exclaimed, "Only 2 hours? The map said 3 and a half."
   "There was no traffic." Hayden shrugged, continuing to drive.
   "Interesting..." Garroth shrugged, "Considering how many bands are on this list, I would only imagine so much traffic, and tons of cars."
   "We saw 5 bands vans on the way here." my mom commented, "But they only had the logo, they weren't as cool as ours." she giggled.
   "Wait a minute, how many bands ARE there?" Dante asked us.
   "Lemme see..." Laurence got his phone again... "Oh dear... 86 bands... and the Academy's 3 of them."
   "Wow... that's a lot of music." Garroth sighed, "That we will have to sit through."
   "Yeah... it is." Laurence sighed, "We might want to bring a lot to do."
   "I brought some games in case your phones die." my mom replied.
   "What did you bring?" I asked her, curious.
   "Apples to Apples and a Charades game... they're not much but, hey, it's something."
   "Thanks!" Dante smiled, "I'm pretty sure if anyone's phone is going to die, it's gonna be Cadenza's." he laughed.
   "Hey! Well, that's true..." she stuck in tongue out, and laughed. We all laughed, and then shortly after, we were finally at the hotel. Hayden had stopped at the front, and the people told him where to park for Battle of the Bands, and we parked. We got out, and there was no one near us. The sign actually said Band #78: The Phoenix Drop. I smiled at that, and snapped a photo. Hayden grabbed our bags from the back, and I grabbed mine, thanking him. We all headed inside the hotel. The first thing that caught my eye was the hundreds of teens, tapping on drum sets, plugging in speakers, and jamming out to an already-made song. Some were wearing complete black, others were matching... some still looking as if they got out of bed. What I didn't realize was this was only a small amount of the competition, and that scared me the most.

   OOOOOHHH DANGGGG!!! COMPETITION YAS!!! XD Hello there... and... I still pranked you >:D But not this I swear because ya :P This actually took me a while to write so like, I wouldn't use this as a prank cuz then I would feel bad XD But yay!!! Updates!!! I'm not ready to go back to school... mainly because I won't get to see my best friends as much, and I don't enjoy school. AT ALL. All my classmates are really mean to me (because I'm short and shy), and no one likes me... oh well :P That's school... and school's not fun but I have to get a good education XD But yeah... I'm not ready to lose my break, cause I've haven't slept this well since school started... so yeah... I don't wanna lose sleep. But I will say, I'm almost done writing ALL of the book... there's only maybe... less than 5 chapters left now? So, I'm really writing my butt off so that I don't have to fret during school... and maybe I can update quicker. This story is getting to the end, and in all honesty, it makes me kind of sad. But, we hit 100,000 reads on the very first day of the year!!! Thank you all so much for helping this reach that many reads... it's truly amazing, and I am so grateful for all of you! Thank you!
