Reading those last comments made me both smile and cry... some of them I didn't even know how to react. At first, I was really nervous doing that. I was scared I was going to offend someone, or hurt someone... but I guess it ended up being the complete opposite. It was both a relief and a pleasure, because I'm glad I was able to make you all feel good! Also, I think some of you are starting to get an idea of the type of clues I put in the book, so that's awesome! Maybe those detectives can help out some other readers! Also, the song above has absolutely nothing to do with the story, I found it, and it's the same voice actor as Zane AND Dante in Minecraft Diaries, and I absolutely LOVE his voice. This is one of my favorite songs in Disney, and he nailed it! He also sounds exactly like Dr. Facilier, and it reminds me of Zane!!! But, off topic, let's go to the next part!

Your Point of View:"I missed you too." I squeezed him, "Don't leave me, ever a-again..."
"I won't." he chuckled.
"OK." I wiped my tears, and released the hug. I looked at the people who were behind my dad. My mother and my friends.
"Did you plan this?"
"Actually, your mom did." Garroth replied. "Cadenza told us Laurence was taking you out for dinner, so then she told us. Your mom found our numbers in a contact journal you keep, and called us, asking us if we wanted to distract you. We told her about Laurence taking you, and she thought it was the perfect opportunity to go get your dad from the airport, while the rest of us decorated the house."
"You... you guys!" I sniffed, "You didn't have to... thank you."
"Oh!" Cadenza blew her nose, "I'm gonna cry now! I need to give you a hug!" she ran up to me, and we hugged. I was sobbing from happiness, and she was rubbing my back. Then, my mother joined us, as well as the guys. We were all in one huge group hug. We all released, and I smiled,
"You guys are the best." I sniffed, "Now, why in the world is there a cake?"
"Because we're having a party!" Dante exclaimed.
"Really? YAY!" I clapped my hands, "What are we going to do?"
"Good question." Laurence replied. We all laughed, and then I thought of something.
"We should all play Apples to Apples!!!" I answered.
"Great idea (F/N)." my father replied, "What do you all think?"
"I'm down for it!" Dante replied.
"Me too!" my mother answered.
"Let's do it!" Laurence and Cadenza said at the same time. We all laughed, and I grabbed the game from the game cabinet.
"Everybody to the living room!" I smiled. We walked to the living room, and Garroth and my mom grabbed a couple chairs from the kitchen. Cadenza and my dad were sitting next to me on the couch, and everyone was sitting around the little coffee table.
"OK, everyone gets 7 cards." Dante passed them around, and I shuffled the green cards. I set them down, and my father picked one up first.
"The word is... sticky." he put the card down, and I looked through my cards. I didn't have any! Except for... lollipops. OK then. I put the card down, and then my dad picked up the red card everyone put down.
"Umm... OK... We have... Oil, Cotton Candy, E-Elephants? (M/N), really?" she burst out laughing.
"We need to tell them the story!" she giggled.
"Later, what else... Lollipops, Feathers, and Tape. Oh gee! OK,let's get this straight, no elephants."
"Aw!" my mom pouted. We all laughed, and then he put down a card.
"I pick tape."
"YES!" Cadenza clapped her hands, smiling. She picked up the green card, and then it was my turn to judge. I picked a card, and snorted.
"The word is... sexy." I put it down, and my father flicked me. "HEY! I swear it wasn't me!"
"I know, but still."
"Dad!" Dante and Laurence chuckled as Garroth tried holding back a laugh. Everyone put down a card, and then I picked them up, and shuffled them around. "Let's see... we have trees, Martha Stewart..." Dante and Laurence started laughing, and my dad laughed as well.
"OK, who put down Martha Stewart?" Dante asked, while laughing.
"Anyways... we have cactus, tomatoes..." I snorted, "P-pizza, and... an empty card! Who put the empty card down?" Garroth was zoned out and Cadenza poked me.
"M-M-MUSHROOMS!" he jumped.
"Sexy... mushrooms?" Laurence snorted, before laughing.
"HE SAID MUSHROOMS!" Dante laughed. Cadenza laughed as well, and my parents did as well. Garroth looked red, as all of us were laughing.
"I CHOOSE MUSHROOMS!" I cheered. Garroth slowly picked up the card as everyone nearly passed out from laughter. (SimplyKy, the inside joke is real XD) The rest of night was filled of laughter, as everyone continued to put down the most random of cards. Soon, everyone had left, and it was just my family. But, it was everyone. "Dad?" I looked up, as he was sitting in between my mother and I.
"Yes?"
"Will you have to go on another business trip?"
"Not for a long time."
"Did you like this one?"
"No. Not at all." he chuckled. "While it was indeed a bit of a vacation,the business had us on a very strict schedule. There was no time to rest except for the 8 hours of sleep, which many of us tried to take time to call our loved ones. Except, they wouldn't let us use our phones for anything other than business, so we had to take turns using a payphone."
"That's rude."
"It was for the sake of our business. I couldn't do anything about it. I would've called you every night if I could, but there were about 8 men on that trip. So, we had to do daily rotations."
"Oh."
"Heh," he chuckled, "Your new friends seem very kind."
"Huh?"
"Well, while you and Laurence were out and about, your friends came over early to meet me."
"Really?"
"Yep! They wanted Laurence to meet me, but he was having fun with you, I assume?"
"Yeah. He invited me for dinner." I smiled.
"And that was very kind of him to do so. Your friends were really respectful, and they seemed very fun, but not as fun as you." he pinched my cheek, and I smiled, "But they told me about what had happened when you moved, and how you met Garroth... such a charming story." he winked.
"Dad!"
"What? Can't say that your friends are good-looking? Heck, they look even better than I did back in the day."
"Ew."
"Of course you'd say, "Ew!" You're my daughter. However, your mother would say otherwise.
"(FA/N)!" my mother slapped his shoulder.
"Ha ha! Your face was priceless, sweet cheeks."
"Whatever." my dad and I laughed, and I got up.
"I'm going to head off to bed. I'm exhausted. Are we going to do something tomorrow?"
"You bet we are!" my father smiled, "All right, well at least give me a hug!"
"Why wouldn't I Dad? I have to give both of you a hug, at the same time, because it's nicer that way." we all hugged, and I headed up the stairs, and closed my bedroom door. I looked in the mirror, and smiled. Because today was a good day, and I felt happy. I felt happy knowing I had such amazing friends, and an amazing family. For the first time ever, I felt completely... complete. The missing piece that needed to be filled was there. It was companionship, and that space was filled by Cadenza, Dante, Garroth, Laurence, and my Dad. Everyone was here, and I felt more relaxed sleeping tonight.
~~~~
"Zane!" I growled, "You're going right, not left! How many times do I have to tell you, 5 yards right, not 5 baby steps left? Again!" While everyone else was practicing passes, Zane had to work on his... coordination. Or was it his speed? Nope, it was everything.
"Is he sweating?" Logan asked me.
"He better be by the time I'm done with him." I replied.
"Haha! You're becoming a coach. That's the spirit! Now, help me with this play." he handed me a piece of paper, with a play. I took the pencil, and made Number 1 run off the field, and everyone else fill in.
"Easy. Call this play Zig-Zig away from Zane."
"Very funny." he snickered. "Seriously, we have to make him play. As much as I don't like this instant positioning because of uniform, we have to let him play."
"But, he can't even catch a ball!" I whispered.
"So what?" he whispered back.
"Wait a minute... Zane!" I snapped at him. He was talking to people. He ducked underneath them and grumbled. Wait a minute... he ducked!
"ZANE! DO THAT AGAIN!" I yelled.
"Do what?" he looked at me with confusion.
"That... DUCK THING!" I smiled, before erasing the play. I put Zane slipping through 2 people and grabbing the ball from the quarterback, before passing it to Dante. "Try this!" I smiled, handing Coach Logan the clipboard back.
"Good eye. HEY! Offense! On line!" Coach Logan blew his whistle, and Defense ran off the field. He walked up to the offense and showed them the clipboard. Zane's eyes narrowed, before nodding. That was a first. They lined up, before Laurence started the play. They started to blow the whistle, and Zane went behind and grabbed the ball, while Dante grabbed it and ran out.
"DEFENSE!" I yelled, "You saw the offense, on the line!" they all ran on, and Logan blew the whistle. The offense did the same exact thing, and Dante barely slipped through.
"COACH!" he walked over, and I mumbled,
"They get here in 5 minutes."
"SkyCraft? Got it. BOYS! Take 5 minute water! Then, we'll work on some more stretches. SkyCraft gets here in 5, got it?"
"Yes Coach!" they walked off the field, and I sighed,
"What's wrong?" he asked me.
"It's my first game. It's also Garroth's first game."
"Yeah... you'll be fine. You've already done so much for this team. Which reminds me, did you remember halftime snacks?"
"Yeah, my mom and dad are supplying sliced oranges and frozen grapes."
"Awesome. Wait, I thought your dad was gone?"
"Oh! He returned Saturday! In fact, Cadenza Dante, Garroth and Laurence were all behind surprising me with his arrival."
"That's nice. Can't wait to see them. You'll be fine. You're doing a great job, all you have to do is show off that skill. Also, don't get intimidated by the guys. That's a rookie mistake. Even though you're up against a boy."
"What does have to do with anything?" I asked him.
"Just more people favor the guys. Not sure why. Probably because it's the example set up for everyone. Yearbook's going to be here along with broadcasting. They might want to interview. Tell them after the game, unless they ask like, 20 minutes before, which is around 5-10 minutes."
"Got it."
"You're a natural. You're going to do great. Are those your parents?" I looked over to the bleachers, where my mom was setting up, and my dad was carrying a cooler.
"Yeah!" we walked up to them, and they were wearing purple shirts.
"Hey guys!" I smiled.
"(F/N)!" my mom motioned for me to come up, and I did, "Can you help with the cooler?"
"Sure."
"So, your the famous (L/N)'s. I'm Coach Logan." my mother shook his hand, as well as my father.
"It's great to meet you. Thank you so much for making (F/N) part of the team." My father smiled.
"She got herself onto the team. She's one tough girl. She's also a really fast runner."
"Gee, wonder where she gets that from, right honey?" my father chuckled.
"Whatever (FA/N)." my mom replied,
"Hehe, I used to be on the varsity track team in college." my dad smiled.
"That's something you should join, (F/N)." Logan chuckled, "And yes, girls can participate. In fact, I think Principal Aphmau got you a locked position, too."
"Really?"
"Yeah!"
"Awesome! Mom, what the heck do I do with this cooler?" I asked her.
"I don't know!"
"Just set it next to the table with the water."
"Hey! I think SkyCraft's here!" I looked at the curb, and there was a school bus. Out hopped guys with black, white and yellow uniforms.
"Yep. (F/N), we gotta introduce you and introduce the team to our field. It's standards." he grumbled.
"Got it." I carried the cooler to the table, and then we walked up to the coaches. There were 2 coaches, and the assistant coach.
"Nice to see you again, Steve, Tyler, Jin."
"Nice to see you again too, Logan." the one with glasses shook his hands, "Is this an assistant coach?"
"Sure is. (F/N) meet Tyler, the one with glasses, Steve, with the green, and Jin."
"Nice to meet you." I shook their hands.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, (F/N). Can't wait till the game starts to see what kind of skills you have. Good luck you guys." Steve smirked.
"To you as well." Logan replied. We walked away, before Logan snickered, "You're is the left field by the way." Tyler grumbled, and Logan smiled.
"What?"
"Inside joke." Well, wasn't this going to be interesting?
YA'LL BETTER BE PROUD, I TOOK AN ALL-NIGHTER! I never have time to write anymore ;-; But never again will I EVER stay up ALL NIGHT. I feel like a zombie and I almost fell asleep in Language Arts... we had to listen to an audio version of a Christmas Carol, while having the novel in front of our faces. Had I gotten like, the whole class to read by myself, I would've been past Stave 4, I swear! But NO, we have to listen to a slow audio version, and take like, 3 days to read the darn book! Makes me cringe!!! So, I added Jin, but I have the funniest way of introducing the other guys. I could just imagine Jin giving the reader a menacing stare... GRR XD And look, Zane was given a chance... and failed! XD Well, he deserves it for being a JERK! But, yeah... I was trying to find people to fill in as coaches, so I picked people Aphmau has done collabs with, this case being Tyler(Hide and Seek), and Steve(Minecraft Kindergarten). I TRIED OK??? Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this part, and I'll see you in the next one! Buh-bye! ~Morgan :D
