As they walk, Mordecai looks around. He sees even more scrolls and books. Gray stops everyone and walks up to a bookshelf. He pulls out a red book with gold letters that reads "Moon-Born: Gifts from the Guardians" What's that? Mordecai wonders, looking at the book curiously with its golden letters. "Well what do we have here?" Arkoh says grinning. "This book is the key to some of the hidden abilities Mordecai can learn" Gray replies. "Oh, you mean like teleportation...right?" Ti asks, wagging his tail happily. "Yep, pretty much" Sala replies, smiling at him.
"I'll do the honors of training him in the training grounds" Wounder volunteers. "Alright that seems good enough, Wounder you take Mordecai and the book to the training ground; Gray, you go with them" Omega instructs the others. Gray nods and leaves with Wounder and Mordecai right behind him. "You two and Sala come with me" he commands, looking at Arkoh and Ti.

"Where is this training ground?" Mordecai asks, whispering to Wounder.

"It's just southeast from the main area we were in" Wounder responds.

"Oh, that's right I kind of took a glimpse when Omega was talking to us" Mordecai answers back.

Walking even further, the cave got darker and darker until they hit a sudden light. A training room shown within the light as pictures of moves appeared on the walls. Mordecai looks around, observing the moves the wolves in the pictures were preforming. They had a similar look to him. He looks closer and notices the last moves had a weapon signaled to them. "Alright young one, this is your very first training session and it will be you last" Gray said looking at him. "Wait, I don't know what you're talking about first and last training sessions?" Mordecai asks in bewilderment. "Well in the eyes of all of us...we believe you can complete all of these lessons without hesitation. Well you know...lack of training with limited time" Gray replies. "As thought to others, you are the special one." Oh great, this should be just dandy.
The candles that surround them, light up and five dummies appear.
"Now as you see up here, the moves that you will be performing all have something to do with your elemental powers" Gray states. "The last two are the most difficult because of your newly earned weapon."
The candles flicker on and off. Mordecai faces the first dummy and turns his head towards Wounder, waiting for further instructions. "Your first move you will be learning is Tail of Darkness" Wounder instructs. The Moonlight wolf concentrates until a shadowy energy covers Mordecai's tail and he quickly swings his tail around, smacking the dummy across its body. The training dummy randomly bursts into dust. That's what that was?! To Mordecai's surprise, he had done that move when fighting the gray beasts back in Coral Tide cave. "Excellent" Wounder praises him "now the next move you will be learning is Lightning Claw." Mordecai then faces the second dummy. Electricity circles his paw and then he unsheathes his claw. His red talon was now glowing with purple sparks radiating off of it. I'm really weird aren't I? The Mordecai thinks to himself with a sigh. His talon slashes across the dummy and sparks of electricity fly everywhere. "Well done, your third move is called Blazing Comet" Wounder says, glancing back at the book.
Mordecai cloaks his body in purple fire. Its radiant glow and heat take over his body in a ball of fire. He was now truly freaked out by this. How was he able to do this? Breathing fire is one thing but, this? He jumps and flies into the air, smacking right into the third dummy. "You're a natural" Wounder praises him once more "the fourth move is called Frozen Wing-Slash." Mordecai's wings turn into a icy cold blue. A cold bitter aura comes off of them and Mordecai shivers. Ice might not be his favorite element, but at least he wasn't in a ball of fire that somehow didn't burn his fur off.
The Moonlight wolf then flies right into the fourth dummy. Cold mist sprinkles the area. "Your final elemental move is called Teleportation" Wounder tells him "yes, I know this is not a surprise, but it is one of your moves you have to learn." "That seems fair" Mordecai replies with a sigh. Wounder and Gray laugh at his comment. "Well I never expected you to say that" Wounder says in surprise then continues "anyway let's move on." Mordecai faces the last dummy, but notices something strange about it. It was moving and it had a bomb! "W-what's going on, what are you guys trying to do?!" Mordecai says freaking out. It had a bomb in its hand! Was this death to all or the most complex challenge. "Don't worry young one, this is all part of the training" Gray says calmly. "What in trying to KILL ME!?" Mordecai says, still freaking out. "N-never mind. Let's just get this over with." He says in embarrassment. The Moonlight wolf stares the dummy down, awaiting its attack. The bomb went flying towards him. He flings himself in the air and vanishes out of sight. He reappears right behind the dummy in a veil of mist. "Well done young one, I never expected such a brilliant performance" Gray praises him once more "now this is the final step you will be doing." "You will be preforming the two sword techniques: Hurricane Spin and Fallen Stab."
Mordecai's ears perk up from the sound of a monstrous roar. He looks at Wounder and Gray, who have a blank expression on their faces. "R-right" he stutters, nervously "T-this is part of the t-training." "No" Wounder and Gray say at the same time. He then turns around to see a gray spike canine beast, looking down at him with a glower. "Oh great" he mumbles.

"What a pity, mutt." The unidentified beast grumbles.

Mordecai pauses for a second then rolls his eyes. A Razorfang great. "Again, wait...who exactly are you?" Mordecai asks in suspicion. The large Razorfang swings his tail back and forth.

"Well, well, well, you don't say mutt" the he answers bitterly. Their voice was rough, making them more menacing. "You don't know, do you?"

"What do you mean? Of course I don't know! What are you their leader?!" Mordecai asks angrily, irritation taking his voice over.
"Ah, so you aren't exactly stupid, good. I tracked your scent here after my fellow comrades were missing. I figured you did it since, General Shadoweye wants you dead and that lead me to you. "
"You did what?!" Mordecai recoils in shock. This weirdo took the time to sniff me out?! Now this Shadoweye was a...general of some sort?
"Heh, fool you didn't think we Razorfangs are that stupid and weak?" The Razorfang snarls, "I am here to claim my revenge, mainly by killing you so the prophecy doesn't spread nor happen. For I Buruga, Leader of Razorfangs, challenge you." He challenges, pointing his large sharpen claw at Mordecai.
"Fine, challenge accepted!" Mordecai growls then dashes to the side running towards Buruga. He flings himself in the air and takes his sword off his back. He then bites the chain, swinging the sword around multiple times. I have no idea what in doing but whatever works is fine. Mordecai  swings his sword around like a mad man.
Razorfang king jumps into the attack. Buruga is slashed with the sword and drops to the ground. He growls and holds his paw up to his stomach. The Razorfang king looks down and notices three large wounds. He glares and snarls at Mordecai.
Mordecai's attack was working however, it was only a matter of time until he was attacked again.
Mordecai rushes over and swings EclipseMoon down. Burgua raises a claw up, catching the blade. Mordecai struggles then lifts the blade up. He takes several steps back then charges towards the Razorfang.
The blade is thrusted into the large Razorfang, causing a bloodcurdling screech. Buruga thrashes about. His body twitches. "You, you..." The king tries to finish his sentence. His eyes go lifeless. Mordecai glares down at him, saying nothing. He knew that this battle was short, but later they would get more challenging and tiring.
Mordecai walks up to his body, taking EclipseMoon out of the Razorfang. A dark red liquid pools underneath the king of Razorfangs. Mordecai knew exactly what it was but, didn't bother staring at it. The fallen body burts into a cloud of dark smoke. The smoke vanishes into thin air, never to be seen again.
Mordecai stands there in confusion. What was that dark smoke? He shakes his head and sighs. A ping of regret hit him but, he didn't know why. The Razorfang was evil wasn't he?
The Moonlight wolf turns around to see Gray and Wounder staring at him in shock. "That was amazing and a little unsettling!" Gray blurts out in excitement. Mordecai sighs, "I'm a little disappointed in myself right now. I didn't even use my new elemental attacks!" Wounder gives him a sympathetic look, "It's alright, you'll be able to use them again in a battle. As well as the missed opportunity of sword techniques to learn" he assures Mordecai with a heavy sigh of disappointment. I should of! Mordecai scolds himself.
