Chapter 13-

I stood next to Tauriel on the balcony. "They have awakened the Dragon." I said in a hushed tone. She was staring off at the lonely mountain. "We have to do something."

She quickly turned around and I followed her off the balcony. "We have no time, we must leave." She told the others, starting to help Tilda.

Fili was helping Kili, although he didn't seem to need it anymore.

Bain looked in loath to Tauriel. "We are not leaving, not without our father."

"If you stay here, your sisters will die, Bain. Is that what your father would want?" I asked him, he looked to the ground.

"Come on, to the boat." I opened the door to let the others out.

"Quickly now." Tauriel confided as we all rushed onto the boat. I helped row.

Another loud roar sounded as the dragon swept down to set fire to Laketown. Tilda and Sigrid screamed, I just rowed faster.

Fire came close to hitting us as we went under a roof.

"Da!" Bain screamed, we all turned to look at the tower. Surely enough Bard stood at the top, shooting arrows at its hide.

"He hit the dragon! He hit its mark I saw it!" Kili screamed.

"No! No weapon can pierce the dragons hide." Tauriel told him. "No hope." I whispered.

"Maybe not." Bain said, then he jumped. Hanging onto a rope and swinging over to another boat.

"Bain!" Sigrid screamed. I dropped my ore and stepped up.

"Leave him!" Tauriel commanded me. "We cannot go back."

I stared at the boy until he was out of sight.

I lost balance as something hit our boat, another one to be exact. A larger one. Full of gold, armored guards, and the Master. "Go Go!" The Master shouted.

"Filth." I whispered.

Another loud roar, but this one sounded different. Of pain. I looked up to see Smaug, wings weren't flapping, he seemed grey, and falling. Falling not far from us. Falling onto the Master.

I stood with Tauriel, Tilda, and Sigrid. Looking around for Bard. "Da!" They screamed.

"Cyndaris!" Fili screamed, I turned to see them pushing out a boat. I nodded, walking to them. "Princess Cyndaris." My feet froze in place, that was not a dwarven voice. "Lord Legolas." I slowly spun around. "You are to come with us."

I sighed and started walking up to him. "Cyndaris?!" Fili screamed. "Do not go with that filth!"

I stopped inches away from Legolas's face. "Let me make this clear to you, My mother, and your father. I am not royalty, I am not to be commanded. I pledged my life to this company. I pledged my life to dwarves, to Thorin Oakenshield. So I am going no where until the Dwarves command Erebor once more."

He stared at me with his father's blue eyes, though his were much softer. So I turned back around, and walked to the boat, grabbing another ore, and making my way to see Thorin once more.

"You gave her your token?" I asked Kili, smirking down at him, he grinned. "You will have to come back to her, take it from me, Elves hold onto everything."

"Dont worry, I will. I will return to her."

I smiled, knowing full well they would see each other once more, one alive, and one not.

I paced slowly behind the four dwarves. Pain in my heart, I tried to keep them from here. The door! I looked up to see it not there, a big gaping hole to the entrance. We started running.

They started calling names, pausing as they ran down the steps. "Stop, Stop!" Bilbo called.

"Bilbo you're alive!" I exclaimed.

"Stop, go back!" He called.

"But we only just got here." Bofur told him.

"I've tried talking to him but he wont listen. Thorin.Thorin, he's been down there for days. He doesnt sleep, he barely eats. Its this place, I think a sickness lies upon it." Bilbo urgently whispered.

"What kind of sickness?" Kili asked, but Fili was already pushing through and running down more stairs.

Dragon sickness, are your dwarf friends so valuable now?

No matter the challenge they are worth it.

"Fili!" Bilbo called. I gazed down at Erebor as we ran more stairs. We stopped when we got to Thorin. He was walking around in the massive pile of gold, which hurt my eyes to look at.

He was mumbling weird things. He looked up and saw us, his eyes widened. "Behold! The great treasure of Thror." He threw something of a jewel up at Fili who caught it. "Welcome my sisters sons, to Erebor!"

I sat back on a pillar, watching the dwarves filter through the gold at Thorin's command. "Would you wish me to help?" I asked, turning to him. "We do not need help from elves, never have, never will we."

My mouth opened in astonishment. "You can not be serious! Thorin, I am part of this company, I fought beside you and saved you, not to mention knocked you down before."

"Is this how you speak to a King? Although I am not surprised, considering your relationship with Thranduil."

My eyes narrowed at him, standing straight, towering above him. "You know not of what you speak. You are the same as any of those dwarves down there. The last time I checked, you still don't have the right to rule." Referring to the Arkenstone, my magic in my face to cover scars were fading, so I quickly turned and stalked down the hall.

"You will need help from this Elf, if you ever want the rest to leave you alone!" I called before I left the hall.

A small gasp was heard as I walked outside, Bilbo stood outside with a hand reaching into his coat. I gave a soft smile,"I know both your secrets, small hobbit. You do not have to hide it from me."

Bilbo's hostile aurora faded and he let out a sigh of relief. "I took it as my 14th share. What should I do Cyn?"

I shook my head,"Apparently they need no help from Elves. So I cannot help you."

"What he says, It is not him Cyndaris you must know this!"

I nodded

"We have searched these halls, it must be here somewhere, yet it is still not found!" Thorin's voice boomed as he stared at his throne. I stood on his right side, as Bilbo stood on the left. Balin and Dwalin stood at the foot of the steps. "Do you doubt the loyalty of anyone here?" Balin asked, Thorin's eyes flickered to me. Dwalin rolled him eyes. "Oh come on Thorin! She just got here, and you would not let her help. She has never been harm. Helped us when needed. That is outrageous."

"It is the Dwarves of Erebor's birthright, why would I want it?"

"It is the King's right." He incorrectly countered.

"I still find no value in it. I am already royalty. Even though I do not wish to be."

Thorin seem frustrated and continued his conversation. "Know this, If anyone should find it, and withheld it from me, I will be avenged."

Bilbo and I looked at each other.
