Chapter Twenty Four

School was boring but we went to the class once again and at school Jackson and Cece said how there trying one more time. So I was the only loner, I've had guys hit on me but I hit on them back but with my palm which ended with a red slap mark on there faces. We got to talk before and they blabbed about how great there boyfriends are and Jimmy came to save me from this conversation or so I thought...

"Yeah me and Jennifer are dating so #Jemmy is a thing" he said with a smirk, cocky idiot. I don't want to hear about anyone's love life and I thought they knew that. "What do you guys think?" He asked and Harper said "adorable" and Cece said "Cute" "how about you Mia?" and I said "Over rated" looking at them annoyed then the teacher came in and I had to go to stupid Chase but today were doing get to know eachother more even though she knows we all don't care There's like 30 people in this huge ass multipurpose room. "So question one favroite color" I said and he filled it in which was blue and I filled his in, the only question that I hated was Relationship status (Because we need to know for certain dance moves)

Honestly it was single which we both put down, in this town it was normal for 8th graders to date and kiss and stuff it's 2016 people get over it. We handed ours in and sat down next to eachother having to but didn't say a word until I said "Okay we really don't want to talk to each other or be near each other but we need to atleast get this over with its only a month" I said to him and he nodded "So I heard you guys had a girl day what did you do, paint your nails or something?" He asked me and I said "You should know we don't do that from experience" I said smirking my heart slightly getting chipped and he said "Eh no one knows with you girls let's be honest" he said and we had to get up but I honestly didn't understand that but oh well.

I went home and I went to my bathroom and got my unused razor and glided it across my skin in the same place repeating it to draw blood and I washed it and put the razor back and I went to my room and checked my phone and it was a text from Jimmy.

Jimmy: Open your window gurl!

I was kinda annoyed, in February or really last week it's been his tradition to randomly come in through my window like a tv show or something. "What boy?" I asked him and he scoffed "Im here to be your best friend" he said to me and I laughed "your barley my friend alone best friend" and he death stared me and said "Let's go play your wii u and be stupid" he said to me and I started to leave and he followed me talking about his day not including Jennifer or asking about mine yet and I went down stairs and set it up.

We danced to when I grow up and about 2 minutes into it I hear laughing

We finished the song then we all talked and hung out everyone left but Jimmy he declared this the day of the Jimmy, which meant he said he's staying the night. My dad's not home and barley is so it didn't matter to him and if he said something like I love jimmy because he would do that I would step on his foot so hard... wait I never told him about the break up or any of my family.
Shit, oh no tonight was the family dinner jimmy can't stay...

Father: Mia, you should invite your boyfriend everyone wants you too. Also sorry I haven't been around and congrats on 3 months!!

A tear escaped my eye and I said "you can't stay tonight Jimmy" "why not?" He asked me and I got an idea "Are you my best friend in the whole world who would do anything for e" I said to him sitting up more not wanting to do this idea but it will work and that's all that matters "sure" he said shrugging "Will you pretend to be my boyfriend for a night?" I asked him "why" he asked confused and I sighed then said "Because my family thinks I have a boyfriend but my dad knows chase but it's better to explain just to him then everyone that we broke up and then two years from now I'll say we're over" I said to him and he groaned and said fine and I added "Oh also dont touch me just say your name is Chase and we have been dating for 3 months okay" I said and he nodded

Honestly, this is a shit idea but I mean it's better to explain two years later and really I'll be in highschool so I'll say I'm busy. I wore a white knee length lacy dress,white heels,curled my hair and put it in a pony tail. Me and jimmy walked into the area of my family and my dad awkwardly hugged me then gave him a handshake. "I'll explain later for the mean time pretend this is the Chase you probably haven't shut up about" I whispered to my dad then me and Jimmy walked past my family and he whispered "So I get to be a boring smartass today" "Yep the smart part will be hard for you" I whispered back to Jimmy and seconds later my cousins hugged me me who are 16 and 14 who usually acted like I didn't exist from my sister but she's always at her friends houses so that's okay but shes not here shes at her friends house. I just knew this wasn't going to end well now, I can feel the idiot essence
