Chapter 23

Chapter 23 - One Step Away

As time went on... the boys continued training with the Royal Classes in the yard, and for weeks they progressed in their combat skills, and formed their true personalities.

Sub became more open, and had became smarter. Though his voice was starting to lose, and in the end became a small talker.. He was a silent warrior, with an axe and shield, ready to fight.

Chris had grown more affection to dear Lasata, and soon fell in love. Chris was a perfectionist with his daggers, in addition his love for his brother, Carlo. He became curious into the riches and money, and slowly became a ninja to see the curious thoughts of others.

Carlo was the youngest, but had grown to be the boldest. Using love and magic as a combination, he used it as an advantage to try to make peace with everyone. His warm heart made everyone happy, and with his new ability, he could use it to make the world better. He also became an alchemist, thanks to Seto and Quentin.

Tyler had became an excellent archer, always hitting a bullseye thanks to Mitch. He got along with the others, and had started to roam the kingdom to find fights. He seemed the type to fight hand in hand combat, so he would find some fights and would mostly win

Finally, Jorge. Jorge had worked hard to master his dual swords. Working every day with Ian, 24/7, he would always keep going, no matter how much he fell. He became a sword fighter, just like Ian.

The Royal's on the other hand had learned about the world itself, and the things beyond the walls of the kingdom. The stories the boys tell to them give them a motive to continue forward to freedom.

But the last task awaits them, for it is reinforcements for the freedom rebellion.

"Alright boys, it's time to help you all out with the final step." Adam said.

"We figured it wouldn't be right without some reinforcements. So... we're all heading outside the kingdom to visit King Ross, who rules the ocean sides." Quentin explained.

"It's sort of ironic because he's afraid of water, but... we don't question it." Ty laughed.

"We need their reinforcements, along to lure Jin with Princess Jess. Ross knows our secrets, so does Jess." Mitch continued. "We just need reinforcements..."

"Yep. We'll head out tomorrow, but you'll need the proper outfits rather than just jackets and t-shirts." Jerome smirked, as Seto came in with outfits in hand.

"One for each of you. They might feel a bit weird, but that's because they're new." Seto explained.

Jorge was given a light blue shirt with gloves, and pants, along with a belt to hold his swords. A satchel was swung around his back to hold more items.

Chris was given a white and red suit, a hood that was able to cover his eyes like a ninja. A red belt had been crossed over his waist.

Carlo was given a jacket, thick but fluffy, and a good olive green color. He had a secret pocket to hide his wand, a backup one in his other pocket. The hood had covered part of his face.

Tyler was given a ninja outfit, fully black with a quiver on his back. His glasses were caught with the suit, and the bangs of his hair slightly showing in the suit.

Sub was given a new mask to cover his eye, something unbreakable with a black cloak, green tips as the design. A special design for Sub's cloak, to instantly insert a computer chip in Sub's system to summon is shield faster than it is.

"This is cool!"

Recently im dealing with love problems with my ex-boyfriend and my friends., and other minor problems.

I planned to post this chapter on halloween but gahh- so little time. I hope you smol children had a good halloween and as the days roll by...
