Chapter 24

Chapter 24 - Reinforcements

"Hiya!" They all exclaimed. The boys and the Royals had hit their horses to get them moving. They rode along the village roads, passing by each and every villager they had ran into.

"To the Water Kingdom!" Adam had exclaimed, happy as they all draw their weapons.

"Be prepared, some monsters tend to wander amongst the land!" Mitch called.

"Got it!" The boys chimed. They grabbed their weapons, and was ready to use. Tyler and Sub looked at each other anxiously.

"Hey... do you think that... thing you fought that one night will have more...?" Tyler asked.

"I-I'm...not sure..." Sub responded. "I hope not..."

With few mobs here and there, along with a couple attacks, they had finally reached the Water Kingdom. The walls were painted with luxurious shades of blue, the tiles made out of crafted lapis. Water falls came from each side of the entrances, stone shaped like narwhals with water spitting out of their mouths like those fountains.

"Narwhals?" Jorge asked.

"Ross' spirit animal." Quentin laughed. "This is where I was born... but due to some... things, I was raised in Adam's kingdom."

"Whoa... looks like this place has a history." Chris said. "Is there an archive?"

"For sure there is a massive library that not only has fiction, but historical views on the kingdom itself." Seto said. "There's so much books, I could read in there for decades..."

"Cool!" Carlo chimed. The boys had put away their weapons, but the Royal's kept them out.

"Um... why are your guys' weapons still out?" Jorge asked curiously. He looked and saw slight fear and sweat on Adam's face. The others had the same expression.

"Sh..."

"Uh..."

"LOOK OUT!" Ian exclaimed. He stood up on his horse and swung his sword at a mysterious, figure coming towards Adam's way. Adam ducked in fear, cowardly.

"What the hell was that?!" Tyler yelped.

"We forgot to mention..." Jason said. "Adam has a fear of squids. War broke out the two with the previous king in this kingdom, King Ballistic... and believe me, he was nuts. Lives were lost the day of that war... even some of our parents..."

"Quentin and I were kidnapped the same day. However... I was just a stray in the forest. I was found by Mitch when he was nearly the same age as me, but... we were both kidnapped." Jerome continued.

"Guys, we're here." Seto interrupted. The horses stopped moving, as the group walked into the castle. Blue ornaments and decor was set around. At the throne was a young man, with gray and brown hair, his outfit with shades of gray (dont think of that) and blue all mixed together. Next to him, a young woman with black, long hair with the same colors, but instead of blue was a mixture of an ocean blue and purple.

"Ah, Prince Sky. What brings you and the Royals from thy kingdom here?" The king asked. His eyes rolled over to the boys.

"And... these boys?"

"We have come with a request of reinforcements, King Ross. Please, let us talk in private." Adam responded, his teenager tone changed back to its royally and formal tone. The King shooed his guards away, as the princess and King stood up.

"So... Adam. Reinforcements?"

"So, you're the guys. Nice to meet you, I-I'm Ross." Ross greeted, as he brought their attention to the princess of the land. "This is Jess."

"Hi!" She said in a cheery tone. The attention was turned back to Adam and Seto, the planners of the rebellion.

"So... the rebellion will start in three days time... so we need to think fast. The reinforcements will all charge towards the castle, and as they hold all the guards back at our kingdom, we'll rebel against Jin. It'll be hard... especially with the villagers not knowing about it." Seto explained. Chris gripped onto his clothes, biting on his lip.

'Lasata...'

A fair maiden came in, black hair and an outfit with a pale pink and white pattern. Her brown eyes caught Jorge's attention.

"Ah, thank you for the tea, Miss..."

"Miss Krisalee."

"Ah, forgive me Miss Krisalee. So many names to remember."

She left the room, Jorge awing as butterflies sprouted in his stomach.

"Anyway... may we please use some of your reinforcements...?" Adam asked

"May you? It's can you? Of course you can! And hey, count me and Jess in this rebellion against Jin. He owes me. Big time." Ross agreed.

And the rebellion against Jin was set in place.

HELLO CHILDREN HAPPY L8 FRIDAY THE 13TH HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD WEEK/DAY.

I have had sooo many tests, and sooo much homework. Not only that but the love problems i've been dealing with for weeks. Anywhale, my birthday is next week on the 20th! I'm turning 13 (finally) so i wanted to get this chapter as quickly as possible.
