Chapter Two - Approve

Chris sat in his room, it was broad daylight. He lived in the suburbs of the city, peaceful but for Chris, it was boring. He wasn't allowed to go outside unless his father had approve. He was an only child, living with his dad. Knowing him for so long, Chris' father was strict when it comes to going out somewhere. But Chris knew why his father had done so.

"Christopher, stay in your room." His father demandee while holding alcohol in his hands as he walked away in the halls.

"Yes father." Chris answered with no enthusiasm. At the age of 17 for Chris, it was nothing but boredom and demanding tones from his drunk father. He waited until sunset, where the time would be right to ask his father. He walked to the living room, seeing his dad watching a football game and his 7th shot of alcohol at his hand.

"Uh... father?" He asked shyly. His father looked back, his drunk eyes shot to Chris.

"What is it?" His father asked, choking out the words as his drunk self was losing control.

"M-May... May I go outside?"

"NO! The world isn't ment for a mistake like you." His father hissed. "Now go back to your room, before you cause more chaos here in the outside world." Chris flinched, the words hurting him mentally. He ran back to his room and slammed it shut. He wiped a tear away, but blinked as he looked outside the window. He looked away, and saw his computer was on. He slowly walked over, and played a small video game. He saw one of his online friends was on, placing something.

"Hey Cya." Chris typed. He waited for a response as he saw the chat was updated with another response.

"Hey Mike. What brings you here?"

"Oh... something that had happened here at my place. What'd you write? What is this?" Chris saw the build his online friend had made, with only one quote to be there.

"Whoa! Mind if I put one in?" He asked online.

"Not at all" the player said. Chris smiled and grabbed a sign in the game and placed it in the game. He typed on the in game sign.

Who said i needed his approval?

"That's a nice quote. Oh gosh, i must go, bye Mike!" The player said.

"Okay, bye Cya" Chris typed, logging off the server. It turned night, the lights of the city flickering around the suburbs of his neighborhood. He knew what he had to do. He grabbed his backpack and his light blue coat. Zipping it up, he grabbed a gray glove and opened his window.

"Who said he needed to approve?"

And he jumped out the window.
