Behind the Scenes

Alright kiddos I've been waiting for this moment but here's a behind the scenes!

The Beginning

It first started way before I even thought of this actually. I'm a weeb, so if you know this anime called Mekaku City Actors, then you would know. I tried watching it on youtube before knowing anything about "Kiss Anime" and stuff, but I knew it was about something and spray paint. The spray paint LITERALLY caught my eye, and I assumed it was about stuff and spray paint. Then, I saw a speedpaint from the lovely TaxeyCab for Raye's story called "Melioristic". Once again, the Spray Paint caught my eye, along with the song "Spraypaint" by Radical Something. So... spray paint related stuff = story was born!

Character Choosing and Quotes

So, "Why the Quartet and Sub? And whats with the quotes?"

Well, let's start with quotes. Chris', Jorge's and Tylers are all from Mythos Craft. In the intro of the very first episode, it shows sayings:

"Do you think there is something more out there?"

"Who said Father had to approve?"

"They're chasing dreams."

Carlo's quote on the other hand is from a speed paint for Raye's story, and in it, the words behind it said:

"Freedom is not a gift"

Sub's quote was just made up because Sub needs luv.

Now, for the character choosing, I chose them based off of Mythos Craft.

Other things

Man I wanted to mention this at the end of this book but oh well.

This book is based off my own feelings and my thoughts in my current life. Take Jason's statement for example in chapter 20.

"I'm sick of being a stupid servant to everyone all the time."

That's how I feel/what I've been feeling and thinking for a while now. I'm taking my feelings and what I deal with and put it into perspective and onto these characters to express what I'm dealing with in real life. It sucks I know. Some of them have statements that have my feelings, some are just part of the story. Its a 50/50 thing.

(Damn that turned to a vent really fast I'm so sorry)

SprayPainted will be getting a new cover soon, because looking back at it I know I can do better so I'm remaking it. I'm still debating weather or not I should make a sequel to this once it's over.

The book will not be going all the way up to chapter 50 or 60, that's waY to long. I said last chapter every 20 chapters the book will end. Thinking over that now with a bunch of ideas sprouting in my head for this story that fits really well (*COUGH COUGH* CHRIS DROOLING FOR THE RED HAIRED GIRL IN THE VILLAGE AND SHOULD BE PRETTY OBVIOUS IF NOT ITS LASATA *COUGH COUGH*).

I think that's it for the BTS right now??? I'm not so sure. If you have questions ask right ahead. I don't mind answering them.
