Chapter 17

Shawn p.o.v.

I was right now contemplating whether God wants me to be with Taylor or not. First he makes us bffs, then we stop talking for almost decade, then we...did stuff, then the morning after he kicks me out of bed, after that I find out I am pregnant with his kids, then I try to talk to him, but he's already left and has no way to communicate with him, then five years later he just happens to accidentally find his long lost son, and when I think we are about to maybe start something, she walks in. Taylor's girlfriend. C'mon God you're giving me mixed signals

When the song ended it looked like Taylor was going to kiss me, but then we hear a girl squeals and run over to us. The girl was 5'8, brown eyed, blonde hair, and beautiful. She kissed Taylor in the mouth and introduced herself as Taylor's girlfriend, Chelsea. When I saw her kiss Tay I felt so angry. I wanted to push her off the stage and yell at her, but that would have been mean. After my anger left I started to feel really sad and I wanted to run to the bathroom and cry. I have no idea where these feelings are coming from. Maybe the coco Matt gave me had a little something else in it. It wouldn't have been the first time.

"Daddy, can me and Danny sing let it go," Drew asks me excitedly, jumping up and down. Danny also looked excited, standing next to Drew. I chuckle a little looking down at them. "Sure. Go ask uncle Carter to go help you," I tell them. They cheer and run towards Carter.

"They're so cute," I hear a voice say behind me. I turn to see Chelsea looking lovingly at my children. "What's their names?"

I smile at her. She wasn't so bad, she was actually pretty nice. "The smaller one wearing the batman shirt is Drew and the taller one in the superman shirt is Danny," I answer. Danny was currently arguing with Drew on who goes first while Carter is trying to mediate between them. "Drew is the brains while Danny is the muscle," I then say.

"I can tell. Danny is also really overprotective isn't he," she says. I chuckle a little at that. Yes, Danny is really overprotective with people he cares about, especially with Drew and I. Once this guy picked me up for a date and Danny interrelated him while I got my jacket. The guy was sweating bullets when I came back. Then when the guy dropped me off he gave me a hug and I heard Danny yell, "keep those hands where I can see them, mister." I then opened the door and found Danny on Matt's shoulders.

"So how are you Taylor doing," I ask Chelsea, trying to create some sort of conversation with her. She shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know. We've dating for the last couple of months and he is really kind, sweet, and caring, but...I don't know. We just aren't that close. I thought at first it was just because we were strangers, but I think after months we would have made some progress. Instead I feel like he's been more distant. Wow I must sound like I'm ranting don't I?"

I shake my head. She really does look worried about their relationship. "You should talk to him about it. Maybe he's just scared of commitment or something," I tell her. She then looks up at me and smirks. "Or maybe I can make him jealous." Before I can even ask what she's talking about she jumps on me and puts her lips against mine. I gasp and she takes the opportunity to stick her tongue in. I try to push her off, but she's too strong.

I feel somebody pull me away from her and almost fall, but strong arms catch me. "What the Hell are you doing," I hear Taylor ask. I hide my face in his chest not wanting to answer. I just betrayed one of my friends, what should I say? I feel so dirty.

"I wanted to see your reaction. To see if you still liked me," Chelsea says as if it was no big deal. I feel Taylor let go of me and grab my hands. He starts to drag me across the room and I start to panic. What if Taylor yells at me for kissing his girlfriend or starts hitting me? Taylor must hate me now, but I didn't mean it.
