After Nick and Adam put the finishing touches on my accounts, I went off to bed, it was a long and hard first day if school. With classes about this, and classes about that, making new friends, stuff like that. I sank down into my soft bead. It was unlike anything else I have ever slept in. With a squishy pillow behind my head, I quickly drifted off into a deep sleep.
I dreamt about my past, about my first family, before I started to live in the orphanage. My dad told me to live with the neighbors, because he wanted me to be safe. After he left, the people that took me in, treated me like I was an animal. I was wiped, and called names like failure, or somethings I just don't like to remember, but they burn in my mind anyways, I would always be horrified for the rest of my life. The wife of the couple wiped me on the head, almost as hard as a bullet would shoot into someone. I screamed, and collapse onto the floor. The houses around me heard me, and called the police. Once the police arrived, the couple slowly dragged me into a closet, and locked the door. Once I woke up, I banged against the door, but everything became fuzzy. I slid down the door, giving up, and started to cry. Then, the door opened behind me. One of the police officers heard me whimper, and took me with her to the police station, the couple was later arrested for child abuse, and was taken to court. They were sentenced to life in prison. I was later handed off into foster care, which was a lot better than living in an orphanage. I lived with many people, but they always handed me off into another adult because I guess they didn't like me, or the way I was. But most of the time, the people who adopted me, would either get seriously hurt, or be killed. One of the couples lived with, I was stuck in a car crash, every one else died except me. I came out of the hospital with only scratches and buses. But I guess I wasn't needed because one of my foster parents told me we were going on a rode trip across the country, following the mountain tops. I was so excited. One day, they drove me out to an old parking lot. They told me to stay here on the bench. They told me they were going to "get snacks" from the store. I was five at the time so I didn't really question anything. Then I saw them sprint to their car, and sped out the parking lot. I knew there was no hope in finding them again. That day, I promised myself to never trust anyone again, not unless my dad came back to me. I was left on the streets, until I was put into the orphanage. I woke up the next morning, with Adam pulling my covers off the bed with one hand, the other was holding his phone, recording, he was doing a vlog. I grabbed my pillow behind me and smashed it into my face several times before I got up and actually looked at the camera.
"Everyone, this is Maddy, the newest member of the sky army." Adam said proudly.
My hair was sticking up, and it looked like a bird's nest. I squinted at him.
"Do you have to do this now?" I asked him. "I just woke up."
"Trust me," Alesa said poking her head into the door was over hearing what I said. "It gets a lot worse."
I threw the pillow of his phone. Adam stepped back, but he dropped his phone onto the pillow.
"Ahh!" he said as he picked up his phone. "I'll see you peoples later," he said to to the camera.
I got up, ate some cereal, helped Adam with his vlog a bit, and walked into school, where Tyler and his three followers stood behind him, where they waited for me to walk in.
