I stood up, eyes wide with shock. Alesa's face went pale.
"Let's go," the doctor said, "He needs blood, now."
*time skip to after blood drawn bc, GROSS!!!*
I sat up dizzly (Idk how to spell) from the long chair. Packs of crimson liquid rushed passed me, and toward the long hallway, leading to Adam's room. The nurse handed m some orange juice, but I shook my head. I couldn't drink anything now.
"I don't like orange juice," I said in a horse voice.
I slowly stood up, grabbed my crutches, and slowly made it back to Nick and Alesa where they stood waiting.
Hours passed. Then finally, the doctors all flooded out into the hallway, with grim looks on their faces.
"What's wrong?" Nick asked.
One of the doctors looked at him.
"He's dying. Say your goodbyes to him," she said. And without another word, she walked off to her office.
"Wait here," I said to Alsa and Nick. Alesa opened her mouth to object, but I was already opening the door.
I walked in to the dark and gloomy room. Adam was lying lifeless on the bed. I felt a spark in my scar on my right cheek each time I got closer to him. Finally, when I was right beside him, I felt the spark carve something into my cheeks. It was a slow, tingling feeling. It crept above my forehead and onto my other cheek, engraving a Capricorn symbols on both of them. Then, an electrical bolt shot down my arm and into my palms. I felt the lights flicker on and off. I focused my energy toward my palms and off my finger tips. Blue bolts of lightning entered Adam's body, and flowed through him. His body moved uncontrollably, twisting from side to side. I finally ran out of energy and stopped everything. I fell onto the near by chair. I gasped for air. Then, Adam's eyelids shot up like a rocket and he sat up, like he had just came from a bad dream. He was safe from the clutches of death.
