Chapter twenty-five

Its been a week sense I moved in with my "parents" I still haven't talked to Adam and  all. Or anyone for that matter. But that's because my "dad" took away my phone.
They made me wear heavy earrings, and dress up like a person who spends too much time in the dark. I have to wear black everything. Everytime I didn't do my chores, or not do them fast enough, they would wip me with their golden belt. And I couldn't do anything about it. That's why I'm running away, straight into the woods. Make camp there, and hope for the best. It was after midnight, I tip toed into their bedroom. Being carful where the noisy parts were, I slowly made it to the dresser, and grabbed my phone,  then more faster this time, ran into my room and locked the  door. I grabbed my nap sack, and jumped out the window. I ran and ran deeper into the woods. After twenty minutes of running, I finally started to climb a near by tree. It started to rain. It poorer down my face and almost wetting my phone. I stopped climbing, and crouched over my phone, making sure it didn't get wet. I saw there frozen in fear. What if they caught me again? What if they called out an amber alert for me? What if I never see Adam and Alesa ever again?  No, that wasn't going to happen, I wouldn't let it. I shivered in my thin jacket. Waiting for the storm to dissipate.
*time skip*
I squinted at the first crack of dawn. The rain has finally stopped. I looked down at my phone. It wasn't that wet, only a few drops on the screen. I leaned back on the branch. Then I heard a tussle in the tree tops. I rubbed my face, and scooted backwards. A blue bird flew out of the leaves. I sighed as it fluttered away. But then popped out the man from my dream. I screamed and swatted him with a near by branch. He lifted up his hands as he was battered back into his hiding place.
"Ow!" he groaned. "Honestly Maddy, I would expect more from you."
I stopped whacking him.
"You-you know my name?" I asked him, raising my weapon of mass destruction (my stick).
He scooted out of the shadows.
"After all these years," he said, "I've known you sense you were born."
I tilted my head.
"Yes, Maddy, I'm your dad," he said

Now i know what your thinkin, 'omg Maddy y da cliff hangers?!?! Well, its because im evil and mean. XD jk, thats up for you to decide. Im doing it because to be completely honest, i have know idea on how this is going to work out XP so, i hopes you enjoyed my chapter!
