chapter twenty-one

Adam started to rub his head.
"Wa-what happened?" He asked, "and why do you look like someone who just came out of a full on sprinting marathon? I was having such a nice dream, I felt like I was walking on a cloud. The air looked golden, and there was a castle in the distance."
I closed my eyes and lifted my nose to the ceiling. After a few moments, I finally started to open my eyes and look at Adam, square in the face.
"You were about to die, luckily a doctor knew what he was doing and saved your life," I said finally catching my breath.
"Where is he now?" Adam asked, cranking his head over me to look.
I shook my head, "He left," was all I could manage to say.
I stood up and opened the door. I signaled Alsa and Nick to come into the room. As they walked into the room, Adam was already starting to stand up. He walked over to Alesa and gave her a bear hug.
"I thought you were gone," Alesa trailed off.
"I would never leave you," he whispered into her ear.
*time skip*
I slid out of the car. It was about seven in the morning, and the sun's head was already peeking through the trees. I opened the door and crashed onto the couch. Adam was released from the hospital, but no one knew how he was able to even stand. All the doctors thought they were seeing things, so they all rubbed their eyes, as if they were going crazy. The doctors signed the release forms, and Nick drove us home. Before I knew it, I was already starting to fall asleep.
So much for school, I thought to myself as I drifted toward the cloud kingdom.

So sorry for the short chapters, I've been really buisy, and my grandma is coming over for two weeks, so there maybe a delay of writing, but everything wil go back to normal ;) thank you for reading! Keep shining
