Adam invited every one I knew from his youtube videos to his deck to meet me. I nervously walked out onto the deck with Alesa's hand on my sholder.
"Every one," Alesa said, "This is Maddy, the newest member of our family."
Jin stood up and walked over to me. He then looked down at me, and gave me his hand. I took his hand and shook it. I locked his gaze on mine.
"Welcome to the family," he said.
"Thanks," I replied.
Slowly, every one else came up to meet me. After every one met me, Adam started to grill some steak and every one got to know me, as well as I can know them.
(A few days later)
I woke up by Adam shaking my covers off of my bed.
"Wake up sleeping beauty, it's time for the first day of school," he said smiling.
I groaned "Five more minutes," I mumbled. But before I knew it, I was dressed up in new clothes Alesa bought for me, because all of my other clothes were tattered and old. I decided to go with something more casual, so I dressed myself in a shirt with blue birds flying in the distance, and jeens. After I ate breakfast, I said good bye to Alesa and baby Mason as Adam drove me down to my new school. It was the end of summer, and I was only starting middle school tomorrow day, with other sixth graders.
"Have a good day at school!" Adam said from the car. Other people started to notice who it was, and started looking at him in awe.
"I plan to, dad," I replied back smiling.
