I woke up on an unfamiliar couch. I quickly sat up, looking around for Adam or Alesa,but they weren't there. I realized I was back in Minecraft, with Notch doing who knows what, and Herobrine, notch where to be seen. I sighed as the boy walked up to me and gave me an apple. It almost made me cry, thinking about how Barney would ask "apple?" and every one would start laughing.
"Are you OK?" the boy asked.
I wiped my blocky hands over my face. "Yea," I said. "Just, distant memories." I looked back up at him. "I never really caught your name."
He hesitated. "My name's Cole, nice to meet you," he said. "And you are?"
"Maddy," I replied, "Nice to meet you to." I took a bite out of my apple. "So," I asked him. "How long was I out?"
"Oh, you know," he said, "about thirteen or fourteen hours."
I wasn't surprised. I haven't took a break, or sept for days. A sharp pain shot down my arm as I forgot that my shoulder was shot.
"Looks nasty," Cole said. "You need a potion?"
I quickly shook my head. "I'll be fine. I'm going to hear out into the forest to take a walk."
Cole looked surprised. "Ok," he said. "Well, see you later. But are you coming back?"
I thought for a moment. Should I run off, and go find a way out of Minecraft? Or should I stay, and help Cole, whatever he needs to do. Maybe Cole could help me get out of here, ad back to Seattle. I turned around.
"I just have one question," I said.
"Sure."
"Do you believe in Herobrine?" I asked trying to cover my nervousness.
"What kind of question is that?" Cole asked.
"Just answer the question."
"Of course I do!" Cole said.
"Have you ever seen him in person?" I asked.
"Many times, because related to him," Cole replied casually.
"How come?" he had my full attention.
"Because he is my uncle!" Cole, rapidly said.
Hehe, your going to hate me for this part. That was the end of the first book! Dont worry, dont worry, book two is comming out this christmas day. Im manely ending the book here because I'm kind of drawing away from Adam and Alesa more and more, Im pretgy sure theres going to be three books in the series, but if not, more. So dont worry about more chspters, cuz I'll have more soon.
