Erick ride a tricycle home and arrived at his house. When he entered the house,he saw his mom waiting for him at the living room. She's quite pissed.

Sarah: "what took you so long?"
Erick: "I just stopped at the Gaston park to stroll there, then I encountered Arianne."
Sarah: "really? What is she doing there?"
Erick: "she's just sitting on a bench by the river."
Sarah: "oh okay"
Erick: "mom.. please be honest with me... is she my long lost sister?"
Sarah: "what?! Good heavens no."
Erick: "then why are you so concerned about her?"
Sarah: "I'll tell you later, after we finished dinner."

Later that night, after they finished dinner, Sarah and Erick went to the living room.

Sarah: "Erick, my son, please forgive me for not explaining it well to you.", "you already know that Arianne's mom is my best friend right?"
Erick: "yeah. What about that?"
Sarah: " you see, we've been very close since we're highschool. You may not know this but, she is already dead, Arianne's parents already died."
Erick: "what? Since when?"
Sarah: " remember when there's a news about a plane crash here in Cagayan de Oro, on the year 2013?"
Erick: "yeah, many died in the plane crash."
Sarah: "her parents are in that plane."
Erick: "man, that's horrible. But where was Arianne during that time?"
Sarah: "I don't know..", "but before Arianne turned 6, she told me about a promise."
Erick: "w-what promise?"
Sarah: " she told me that ~if something will happen to me, promise me to take care of my daughter..~", "I know she was just joking but I still promised her.", "and now that she really is gone, I don't want to break that promise. That's why I'm very concerned about her."
Erick: "ahh so that's why... you should have told me before."
Sarah: "aww are jealous that I care about her? Are scared that I might forget you as my son?"
Erick: "what? No I don't."
Sarah: *smiles* "please take care of her for me. She's the only one I have that reminds me of Rosalind."
Erick: "uhh...okay... I guess.."
