Chapter 12: Meeting New Friends

Arianne is arranging her things in her locker. Then Erick, Raphael, and Marcus go to her.

Marcus: "h-hey Arianne."
Arianne: "oh hey."
Erick: *whispers* "why is he looking so nervous?"
Raphael: *whispers* "he had a crush on her since we're sophomores."
Erick: *whispers* "ohh..."
Marcus: "I-I was wondering if...you...."
Arianne: "huh?"
Erick: "eat lunch with us.", "you see, this guy had a major crush on you and he wants to eat lunch with you. He is just nervous to ask."
Marcus: "what the heck are you doing?! That's not cool, bro!!" *faces is flushed in red.*
Erick: "well? Are coming or not?"
Arianne: "can't you wait for a sec?!"
Erick: "okay, 1 second already pass. Are you coming or not?"
Arianne: "alright! Alright! I'm going with you guys."
Marcus: *talks to himself* "I can't believe this is happening right now..."
Raphael: "hey, did you notice something between them?"
Marcus: "huh? Nothing, I guess."
Raphael: (hmmm.... I wonder.)

While they are busy talking, someone is hiding behind them and... observed them. Especially Arianne and Erick. Then they go outside of the campus and ride tricycle to Centrio.

They go inside the mall, and they go to McDonald's. Marcus went to the counter to order their meal. Arianne and Erick tries not to make eye contact with each other and not to touch each other, even just a little bit.

Raphael: "Erick, you're a new student right?"
Erick: "uh yeah."
Raphael: "you didn't enrolled in our school before, right?"
Erick: "yeah.."
Raphael: "so it means, you haven't met anyone from our class, right?"
Arianne: (why do I have a feeling that I know where this is heading...)
Erick: "um.. yeah.."
Raphael: "then why do you talk to Arianne as if you've met her already?"
Marcus: "wait, you've met her before?"
Arianne: "oh, Marcus, you're back."

Marcus distributed their meal. They start to eat.

Raphael: *mouth full* "come on, Erick. Answer my question."
Erick: *thinking silently while cutting his chicken fillet*
Raphael: "how about you, Arianne? Did you know him before?"
Arianne: "uh...well..."
Raphael: "is there any connection between you two? A relationship, maybe? Are you two.... in a relationship?"
Arianne: "what?! Why would that even happen?"
Erick: "fine, I did met her before."
Raphael & Marcus: "huh?! Really? How?"
Arianne: (please don't tell them about you living in my condo unit...)
Erick: "I... my mom knew her."
Raphael & Marcus: "oh"
Arianne: *sighs*
Erick: "apparently, my mom and her mom are best friends. That why."
Marcus: "uh Arianne, I'm sorry about your parents.."
Arianne: "oh hmph, it's okay."
Raphael: "well are you guys finish eating? Its already 12:40, we don't want to be late."

They returned to the school.
It's dismissal time. When Erick first stepped out of the classroom, girls are already surrounding him (fangirls).

Girl1: "kyaa! Erick, you're so handsome!"
Girl2: "Erick, be my boyfriend!"
Girl3: "marry me!!"
Girl4: "I love so much!"
Girl5: "notice me, senpai!!"

The fangirls are blocking the classroom, so Arianne needs to squeeze through them.

She is walking in the hallway when someone called her.

Christina: "you're Arianne, right?"
Arianne: "uh yeah." (stupid bitch, how could you not know me? I'm your classmate.)
Christina: "I'm Christina, this is Rachelle, and Sofia."
Rachelle & Sofia: "nice to meet you, Arianne."
Arianne: "uh nice to meet you, too."
Christina: "I was wondering if you want to be a part of our group?"
Arianne: "why would you want me to be friend? I mean, I'm a nobody."
Rachelle: "we want you because your strong and brave, especially about your parents. Even if they're gone, you still do your best to live. We're moved by your story. Really."
Arianne: "oh he he.."
Sofia: "so, are you in?"
Arianne: "yeah."
Christina, Rachelle, & Sofia: "friends?"
Arianne: " friends!"
