Chapter 9: Moving In

It was sunset, there was a taxi waiting in front of the Andersen's resisdence.

Erick , after packing his clothes in his backpack, went outside to get inside the taxi.

Sarah: "what's in the bag?"
Erick: "oh uhm.. my clothes."
Sarah: "but you still have a lot left in your cabinet."
Erick: "what?" *realization * "wait a minute... what?! You've gotta be kidding me."
Sarah: "no I'm not. So get all your clothes there."
Erick: (ugh! This sucks.)

Erick went back inside to get all his clothes.
After a few minutes, he finished packing all his things and get inside the taxi.
Erick and Arianne felt the awkward atmosphere.

Erick: (why is this happening to me? Of all the people in this world, why me?)

Later, the taxi drive pass Arianne's apartment. It made Erick suspicious.

Erick: (what the? Why did this taxi drive pass her apartment? Where is she taking me? )

It made Erick sweat in nervous.

Arianne: "hey, you okay?"
Erick: "huh? Oh um.. yeah, yeah I'm ...I'm okay."
Arianne: "uhh... okay then."
Erick: ( shit! What's going on? Where is she taking me? Please someone help me.)

Then the taxi entered a gate, then stopped in front of a big building. They got out of the taxi. The building is very tall, it seems to have 30 floors and it's a very well designed building.

Erick: (woah! A building? What are we doing here?)
Arianne: " so let's go?"
Erick: " huh? Uh y-yeah."

They went inside the building, then a girl greeted them.

Girl: " good day, ma'am, sir. Welcome to the Spectrum Condominium."
Erick: (wait... a condominium?)
Girl: "how can I help you?"
Arianne: "oh its fine."
Girl: "okay ma'am, sir. Hope you'all enjoy your stay here."
Arianne: "thank you."

They went up using the elevator. They stopped at the 5th floor, and entered room

Arianne: "well, here we are."
Erick: (wow! I've never seen a place that is well decorated.) "What are we doing here?"
Arianne: " your mom wants you to live in my place right? Well here we are."
Erick: "wait...this is your place? This is where you live?"
Arianne: "yep, surprised aren't you?"
Erick: "but I thought you're living in an apartment.."
Arianne: "oh that? I'm sleeping over my friend's place."
Erick: "ahh...ok."
Arianne: "so uh... I guess I'll show you to your room then."

Arianne's condo have a wide space. It have a living room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen with a dining area.
Arianne showed Erick his room. The room was painted in different shades of blue. It already have a cabinet, a bed, a table with an office chair, and it also have hanging shelves.

Erick: "wow!"
Arianne: "so this is your room. I'll just go to my room."

So Arianne left and went to her room, while Erick is inside his room while staring at his surrounding.

Erick: (damn. I got to admit it, her place is awesome. But I didn't expect her to live in a condo.)

Erick arranged his things and changed his clothes to a grey, loose shirt and a basketball shorts. Then he went to the living room and sit on the couch to watch TV.

Then Arianne interrupted him.

Arianne: " OK so first of all, I have rules here."
Erick: "wait, what? Why?"
Arianne: "first rule: respect each other's privacy. Don't suddenly barge in someone's room."
Erick: "why would I even want to enter your room anyway? It's not like I'm interested with you."
Arianne: "shut up, okay? I'm not yet finish."
Erick: "fine."
Arianne: "second rule: don't invite people here without my permission."
Erick: "what? Who are you? My mother?"
Arianne: " oh yeah? And who are you? The owner of this condo unit?"
Erick: *looks away* "hmph!"
Arianne: "and lastly, don't hurt each other."
Erick: "what? Why made that rule?"
Arianne: "trust me. Even I didn't like this rule, but I don't want to cause war in this place and also I don't want to disturb the other people in this floor."
Erick: " well are you finish? Your interrupting me."

They give each other a deadly glare. Then they continued to what they're doing.

Arianne & Erick: *sighs* (I hope this will be over soon..)
