Chapter 14: The Betrayal

The next day, in their classroom.

Christina: "Arianne, I'm sorry for what we've said yesterday."
Rachelle: "yah, we didn't really mean it."
Arianne: "oh it's okay, I didn't actually took it personally."
Sofia: "so..friends?"
Arianne: "y-yeah."
Christina: "Arianne, can you do me a favor? Can you introduce me to Erick?"
Arianne: "why?"
Christina: "well, so he'll know a little bit about me.. you know?"
Arianne: (wait... bitch, are you flirting with him?)
Christina: "well? Are gonna introduce me or not?"
Arianne: "okay, okay I'm going."

She go to Erick, who was sleeping on his desk.

Arianne: "hey..Erick."
Erick: *looks at her*
Arianne: "Christina wants to get to know you."
Erick: "who? Oh that devil woman? Nah.. I'd rather sleep."
Arianne: *about to laugh*
Erick: "oh yeah... what's with you yesterday?"
Arianne: "huh? What are you talking about?"
Erick: "you're frowning and you ignored me all night."
Arianne: "naah, it's nothing. Just thinking about something."

Meanwhile, Christina is waiting.
Rachelle: "Chris, are you sure they're still talking about you?"
Christina: "maybe she's talking about how fabulous I am."
Sofia: "then why does Erick looks so serious? I mean, he should be smiling. "
Christina: "...... that's it. I'm going."

Christina approached them.

Christina: "hi Erick!"
Erick: "oh uh.. hi."
Christina: "it seems like you two are busy talking about me."
Erick: "yeah, we sure are."
Christina: "anyway, are you free for lunchtime?"
Erick: " I think so.."
Christina: "great! Let's go eat lunch together later, okay?"
Erick: "uh..sure, I guess.."
Christina: "awesome.", "um girls, do you mind if me and Erick will have a chat.. alone?"
Rachelle & Sofia: "oh sure, no problem."
Arianne: "uh yeah, I don't mind."

Later at lunchtime, Arianne, Erick, Christina, Rachelle, and Sofia go to Centrio to each lunch. After that, they walk around the mall. Rachelle and Sofia are busy chatting, Christina is busy flirting with Erick (while holding his arm as if he's her boyfriend), and while Arianne is just at the back... all by herself..with nobody to talk to.
Then they walked pass by Bread talk, and Arianne is hungry.

Arianne: "hey guys, why don't we by some bread from Bread talk?"
Rachelle: "what? Really? You like their breads?"
Sofia: "we don't like their food. Go buy for yourself."
Arianne: "ah hehehe, I'm just kidding. I know you don't like that."

They continued to walk. Arianne feel so lonely and Erick noticed that.

Later, Arianne is heading to the comfort room. She was about to get out from the cubicle, but then Christina, Rachelle, and Sofia came inside the comfort room.

Christina: "OMG!! This is the best day ever!!"
Rachelle: "OMG, I know right!"
Sofia: "but ugh, why do you have to bring Arianne along?"
Rachelle: "yah?"
Christina: "you see, Erick is probably thinking that we're best friends. So I have no choice, I have to be friendly to her to get Erick."
Arianne(who is hiding in the cubicle): (w-wait, she just used me?)
Sofia: "she's so weird like OMG."
Christina: "hahaha! Ikr? Weird af"
Rachelle: "I wonder why Erick is so close to her I mean like, she's a nobody in this world. Nobody likes her."
Christina: "nobody in this world likes her, that even her own parents left her."
Rachelle: "hahahaha! She's probably struggling to survive right now!"

They left laughing but they didn't know that Arianne heard everything they said. After they left the comfort room, Arianne come out from the cubicle crying. She face the mirror.
Then she washed her face to clear the evidence that she cried.
She texted Erick that she'll go home ahead.
Later Erick arrived home, he looked around but it's so quiet.
After cooking, he called Arianne for dinner but she didn't come. He tried to peak into her room and to see her laying down on her bed covered by her blanket. When Arianne woke up from her short nap, she saw a Tupperware full of food, spoon, and fork with a note.

Note: "here's your meal, you idiot. You made me wait, but I can't stay up all night because we still have school tomorrow. Anyway, eat this already. It's probably cold when you open this but don't complain, you should be happy that I left some food for you. Eat this, you are probably hungry right now after reading this."

She smiled.
