Chapter 20: Advice From The Broken

It was the second to the last day before the celebration of Nutrition month. Arianne is finish with making the decorations. Erick, again, sneaked inside the Arts room.

Erick: "so you're almost done with that?"
Arianne: "!! What the heck?! Why are you here again?"
Erick: "so what if I'm here? You can't tell me what to do."
Arianne: "pff.."
Erick: "since we don't have any assignments and projects.. why don't we eat at the night café?"
Arianne: "u-uh.. I guess I'm free later."
Erick: "okay then."

Later Erick and Arianne walk to Divisoria. Then all of a sudden, someone hugged Erick at his back. It was Cheryl!

Cheryl: "hi Erick!!"
Erick: "what the heck?! Cheryl?!"
Cheryl: "I missed you so much!!"
Erick: (shit, this girl is so annoying!!)
Arianne: (sighs* why do I have a bad feeling..)
Cheryl: "oh, hi Arianne..." *glares at her*
Arianne: "hey, Cheryl... " *glares back*
Cheryl: "hey Erick, it's been a long time... why don't we go out tonight?"
Erick: "sorry but I have plans for tonight. I'm going to the night café with Arianne."
Cheryl: "what?! With her? Who is she? Your girlfriend?"
Arianne: "what?! No! Why would I be his girlfriend?!"
Cheryl: "well.. if she's not your girlfriend, then I can go out with you.."
Erick: "dammit, you're so annoying!"

So the three of them go to the night café. They sit on a table for three, but Cheryl moved her chair next to Erick.
Erick and Arianne were secretly pissed of her, yet they still play cool.
While eating, Cheryl is so busy flirting with Erick.

Cheryl: "Erick, feed me!"
Erick: "come on, you have a pair of hands. Eat on your own."
Cheryl: "please..." *puppy eyes*
Erick: *whispers* "fuck..." *feeds her*
Cheryl: "mmm!! It's so delicious!!! "

Poor Erick. Arianne can't even concentrate on eating her meal.

Arianne: (why am I feeling so uneasy? Why am I feeling left out... )

After a little while, Cheryl finally go home.

Cheryl: "bye Erick!!! ❤❤ see you next time!" *and left*
Erick: *waves goodbye*
Arianne: (wow... she just ignored me.. fuckin' bitch!)

So the two of them stopped by a bookstore.
Erick: "wait a minute."
Arianne: "huh?"

Erick is looking for a pocket book with a romantic story.

Arianne: "romance eh? I didn't expect that."
Erick: "you don't fully know me, okay?"
Arianne: "very well then..."

Erick payed the book and they waited for a taxi outside.

Arianne: "u-uh Erick... "
Erick: "hm?"
Arianne: "who is Cheryl?"
Erick: "she's the girl who is always flirting with me earlier."
Arianne: "I know that, idiot. I've even seen it." ,"what I mean is, who is she and how did she know you?"
Erick: " it was when I was in 1st year highschool, when I was still in the US. She was my schoolmate. She was obsessed with me. She's always following me wherever I go. And it's really annoying."
Arianne: "wait.. don't you appreciate rather?"
Erick: "why would I? "
Arianne: "really? I mean.. she likes you, don't you want that? Someone who appreciates you? Someone who loves you?"
Erick: "it depends on the person, if they like that person or not. And I don't like her because she's really getting into my nerves"
Arianne: *whispers* "what a heartless person", "then you better tell her right away about that, then to keep her waiting for nothing."
Erick: "huh?"
Arianne: "you see... the longer she waits... the greater the pain she will suffer."
Erick: "w-wait.. why are you saying that like as if you can relate to her?"
Arianne: "what? N-no.. I just... watched a lot of... romantic movies."
Erick: "uuh.. okay.."
