Appearance:
She has long almond brown hair that reaches to the middle of her back. She usually ties it up into a 2 low ponytails as a tribute to her late older sister. She wears a black T-shirt with a pink skirt that reaches above her knee. She wears a grey cardigan over them and she wears brown shorts inside off her skirt. She wears thigh high stockings and wears pink knee high boots. On her right wrist, she has 2 wrist bands. One says her name while the other says 'Taylor Swift'. She usually wears a pair of pink lab goggles that was given to her as a farewell gift from her past school classmate. She doesn't usually use them but she likes the feeling of the goggles on her head.

Personality:
When first seen, she may come across as a sarcastic girl who is rude, but once she opens up, she can be quite a handful. She is the type of person who isn't down-to-earth nor heads-in-the-clouds. She is like in between. She is usually optimistic and a very curious person. Her love for adventure always gets her into trouble. She may not seem like it but she is a passive aggressive person. She loves debating and she usually uses her logic rather than her emotions, which may make her blunt. She is also a sadomasochist but she doesn't show it. She is also stubborn, especially is she is under a lot of pain and stress.

Background:
For the first 6 years of her life, Miyako has always been that little smiling angel. She was treated well and enjoyed life to the fullest. She lived with her parents and 4 siblings. Marcus Kawasaki and Kayla Kawasaki were her older siblings while Ayumi Kawasaki and Akihiko Kawasaki were her two younger siblings. Sadly, her life took a 180 turn when her father fell sick. Before he passed on, he passed Miyako a red crystal necklace before telling her "On the day, it will glow once you meet the one."

Soon enough, 2 months later, her mother began seeing other men at work, going out for drinks and coming home late. Despite being 6 years old, Miyako felt that her mother was trying to hide the pain of the loss of her husband by seeing other men and distracting herself with a new love life. Soon, Miyako's mother began seeing this guy named Akio Hashimoto. Miyako didn't like the Akio at all ever since the first meeting due to her not being able to accept the fact that Akio would be her future step-father.

2 years later, Miyako's mother and Akio Hashimoto got married and then the entire family had to change their last name from 'Kawasaki' to 'Hashimoto'. Miyako was upset but was forced to agree to the change however, she mainly uses her original last name whenever she writes her full name.

Akio attempted to gain Miyako's trust and love but it became hard due to the fact that Miyako still hasn't moved on from her father's death.(She's a huge daddy's girl) Akio treated Miyako as if she were to be his own blood daughter. However, Miyako rejected his love.

At the age of 13, Miyako began to focus more on her siblings than her situation. Kayla introduced Miyako to adventure story books and would always tell Miyako that life is an adventure on its own. This soon bloom the interest of adventure in Miyako. Miyako's siblings helped Miyako be distracted from her pain by showing her new things, which made her extremely curious about the world.

By the age of 14, Kayla and Marcus soon had move out of their family home to further their education. Miyako had a hard time with this, thus adding onto her already filled misery in her but Kayla asked Miyako to tie her hair into the same style as how she ties her hair, as a tribute to her. Marcus gave Miyako a 'Taylor Swift' bracelet for memory's sake.

5 months later, Miyako's two younger siblings were offered a scholarship to a prestigious boarding school, which leaves Miyako alone in the household along with her step-father and her mother.

For 3 years, Akio worked hard to gain Miyako's trust by helping her whenever she needs help(despite her not asking because...), giving her gifts(she rejected them),and showered her with love and affection. Her mother began rebuilding the nearly broken relationship between her daughter and Miyako gladly accepted.

Present:
The reason why she was sent to the Sakamaki household was because her late father was part of the church and he had agreed to many deals which resulted in Miyako into moving to the Sakamaki household at the age of 17(16.5)

She got close to Yui really quickly not only because she was human like her but, Yui reminded Miyako of Kayla.

Nicknames:
Katabutsu (stubborn person)=Ayato(He called her that ever since Miyako was really stubborn to make him takoyaki.
Tenshi no yona hito(angelic person)=Akio(despite the rejections, Akio still refers to Miyako as an angelic person as he knows that she is one deep inside.)
Miya-Chan=Yui(since she is close to Miyako, Miyako asked Yui to call her Miya-chan or just Miya instead.)

A/n:
I know you guys are probably all "Her past isn't so traumatic" or that she is being selfish to Akio. I find that her past is traumatic enough due the fact that her beloved father that she is extremely close with passed away when Miyako was just really going and that Miyako hasn't even moved on from his death is traumatic already. Imagine feeling the most horrible grief Miyako faces on a day to day basis for years. And that the fact that after her father's death, her mother went out dating and stuff probably made her feel as if her father was just as replacable as any household objects made Miyako to reject her step-father.
