Chapter Eight; One Day

"Let's hang out at the pool today." Javeon stated, I don't even know why I was hanging out with Sterling and his friends for the whole field trip. Yes, I liked Javeon and Sterling. I don't hate Zach, but just why him?

"Why? Why are we spending the whole field trip with them. Hanging with them. We never even talked to them, before this. But now, we are. Now you decide we should be friends."

"What's wrong with hanging out with me?" Javeon asked, laughing.

"Nothing! But it's obvious you and Valentine like each other, and I'm completely okay with that. Go on a date do whatever, but why am I involved with hanging out with all of you, people!"

"Sis, what about me don't you want to hang out with me?" Sterling laughed, I shook my head.

"I see you everyday! We live in the same house, and I know you love Quinn. I know Quinn loves you. But go on a date hang out but why would you drag me along, to see all the disgusting lovey dovey shit."

"And Zach, you hate me. Like really we argue all the time. Why would you want to hang out with me? Serious if you did want to hang out with me you would try, too."

They all looked at me strangely.

"I have no people hanging out with them, but seriously ever single day." I complained.

Sterling laughed.

"She isn't wrong, you know. We should go on a date..."

I glared at him and glanced at Javeon and Valentine who both were blushing.

"D-do y-you w-wan-want t-to go o-n a d-da-date with m-me?" Javeon stuttered looking at Valentine.

"When?" She laughed.

"Now?"

"Yes." She squealed and they left, I glanced to where Sterling and Quinn were and they left too.

"Okay, well I guess you don't have to hang out with them today." Pandora laughed turning to me, "Sapphire are you okay?"

"Just confused and stressed, and ugh." I face palmed. "I don't know, just I don't know!" I whined.

"I got to go, I have a date with Levi today..." Pandora blushed before walking away. I then looked at Zach.

"I guess it's just you and me." I mumbled.

"We'll try to contain your happiness." Zach laughed, I shrugged.

"Your not going to make me hang out with you, are you?" I asked and he nodded.

"Come on, it'll be fun. We can learn new things about each other." He smiled, shaking his head as I laughed.

"Sure." I laughed.

"For example what's your favorite color?" He asked.

"Purple." I stated.

"You never even wear purple." He laughed, I glared at him.

"So...?"

"You only wear black." He replied, "So isn't your favorite color suppose to be black?"
