We hit 1k reads on this story omfg thank you guys so much. I love you guys so much that words don't even explain it. I feel like I say that a lot so I'm sorry! To celebrate I made another chapter for all of you!!!!

Chapter Twenty-Three; Singing

"Nervous?" Maddie asked, walking up to where I was watching Zach, and the rest of the guys dance on stage, for their performance.

I nodded, it was my first time being on stage. I'm not really good with talking in front of a big group of people, let alone sing.

"What song are you going to sing?" Maddie asked, trying to distract me.

"Here by Alessia Cara and Love Robbery by Kalin and Myles." I told her.

She was actually distracting me.

"You should do a duet with Kylee." Maddie laughed, I nodded knowing how good Kylee could sing.

"I know, we are going to see locked away together for the next performance."

5quad stopped dancing and that's when I knew they were done and it was my turn to get on the stage.

My breathing quickened as they walked past me.

Zach grabbed my hand and pulled me back stage.

"You're going to do fine." Zach whispered into my ear, hugging me.

I nodded taking a deep breath, while I played with the braid in my hair.

"Now go out their and sing your heart out." Zach laughed, quickly kissing me on the lips before pushing onto the stage.

I sighed walking the rest of the way.

When the supporters saw me, they started screaming and holding signs higher, I read them and immediately smiled.

This one girl had a banner that said, "Zapphire AF!"

And another had, "I Love You Sapphire."

I sighed, "I've never been good at talking in front of people. So, I don't even know what I'm going right now. I am so nervous." I whined, they laughed.

"Anyways before I faint or do anything stupid, I'm going to sing you two songs. The first song is Here by Alessia Cara."

"I'm sorry if I seem uninterested"
"Or I'm not listening"
"Or I'm indifferent."
"Truly I ain't got no business here."
"But since my friends are here, I just came to kick it."

"But really I would rather be at home all by myself"
"Not in this room with people who don't even care about my well being"
"I don't dance, don't ask, I don't need a boyfriend"

They started screaming, Zapphire causing me to laugh lightly, so I could still keep singing.

"I'll be here, somewhere in the corner
Under clouds of marijuana with this boy who's hollerin'"

Okay that sounds like Zach, "this boy who's hollering" He is always screaming and acting like a dork.

"And I can hardly hear"
"Over this music I don't listen to"
"And I don't wanna get with you"
"So tell my friends that I'll be over here"

I don't care if Zach is a dork, he is my dork.

"Oh oh oh I asked myself, what am I doin' here?"

"And I can't wait 'til we can break up out of here"

"Excuse me if I seem a little unimpressed with this"

"An antisocial pessimist, but usually I don't mess with this"

"And I know you mean only the best and your Intentions aren't to bother me, but honestly I'd rather be somewhere with my people, we can kick it and just listen to"

"Some music with a message, (Like we usually do)"

I saw Zach standing on the side of the stage watching me and smiling at me.

"And we'll discuss our big dreams, how we plan, to take over the planet
So pardon my manners, I hope you'll understand that I'll be here (Ooh)
Not there in the kitchen
With the girl who's always gossipin' about her friend"

"Oh tell them I'll be here"

"(Ooh) right next to the boy who's throwin' up"

I don't know why, but I just imagined Zach throwing up.

"Cause he can't take what's in his cup no more Oh God why am I here?"

This was actually a lot better than what I had thought it would be. I thought it would be all scary and everything. But it wasn't.

"Hours later congregatin' next to the refrigerator."

"Some girl's talkin' 'bout a hater, she ain't got none"

"How did it ever come to this? I should've never come to this"

I continued the song, smiling wondering how longer it will take. I should have picked a shorter song!

"Holla at me, I'll be in the car when you're done"

"I'm stand-offish, don't want what you're offerin'"

"And I'm done talkin', awfully sad it had to be that way"

"So tell my people when they're ready that I'm ready"

I don't even know what that lyric meant but... Let's just continue singing! It's almost over, anyways.

"And I'm standin' by the TV with my beanie low Yo I'll be over here"

I smiled taking a deep breathe before looking over at Zach before motioning for me to continue. I looked at the D.j and he nodded while putting on Love Robbery.

The audience screamed excitedly, when I sang or well rapped the first lyric.

This chapter was mostly her singing and I'm sorry, for that! I truly am!

Well all of it was her singing...

I should really plan my stories before I write them because I will get writers block...

But... Let's be spontaneous and not write them out?
