Chapter 7: : Who is this guy?

When I was sleeping I heard a faint whisper that woke me.

"Wake up sleeping beauty." I heard Colts voice.

"Huh?" I said opening my eyes.

"Wake up it's morning." He said.So I opened my eyes and when I looked up I saw his dark brown eyes. Man he's cute...ugh...

"Okay let's wake up Kylie and Rufus." I said sitting up so my head isn't on his chest. But I'm still sitting between his legs.

"Alright."

"Kyyyyllliieee! Wake up! It's morning." I said trying to wake her up without putting her in a bad mood.

"Mmmhhh..." She wasn't getting up.

"C'mon! We have a long day ahead of us. " I said standing up on the branch.

"Alright fine...." She replied opening her eyes and getting Rufus up as well.

"Let's get down and head towards that clearing over there." I said pointing to a clearing about 10 minutes away. I can see quite far from this tree. It's a beautiful view. I wish it was always like this..

"Okay. Colt can you jump down so I can throw Rufus down to you?" Asked Kylie.

"Umm throw?! I don't think so sister!" Barked Rufus.

"How else am I supposed to get you down? Lightly toss? I would most likely miss if I did that. Don't worry Colt is strong, he can catch you." Said Kylie reassuringly.

"Fine but if you drop me I get to bite both of you!" He yelled.

"Fine, whatever just get down there!" She said as she tossed Rufus down like a pillow. Colt caught him in his arms then put him down so he could do his morning doggie business. Then I jumped down and landed on my feet. Then I walked around trying to stretch out my legs. After me was Kylie. But she didn't aim for a clear spot. Instead she landed on me!

"WATCH OUT ALEEEXXX!!!!" I heard as I looked up only to see that she was right on top of me.

"Oh my god! Are you two alright!?" Yelled Colt as he ran over to us.

"Yea just bruised..." I replied as he helped me up from the ground.
Then when I got up I helped Kylie as well.

"Why did you land on top of me? You trying to make me a pancake?" I said kinda upset.

"Sorry I thought I was in the clear but u started walking and I landed on you." She replied dusting off the dirt from her pants and shirt.

"It's alright but next time we sleep in a tree and get down, please go down first." I said now wishing she DID go down first.

"Alright enough chit chat let's head towards the clear." Said Colt transforming. As well did Kylie and me. We all started sprinting toward the clear. As well did Rufus.( Note that when we transform, we're not like those ugly human wolf things. We're actually a wolf that you would see in the woods but bigger and stronger :) )

~Arriving at the clear~

"So which direction do we go from here?" Asked Kylie transforming back to human. Colt and I did the same.

"Hmm I think we should head NorthEast. I think we can reach New York if we head that wa-"

"Not if I can help it...." Said a very sassy voice.

"Who's there?" Snarled Colt. He transformed. Kylie and I both did and got in our pounce form.

"King B. And I'm here to make sure you don't arrive at New York. I was sent by my boss. And I for one I won't be telling you his name." he said very sassily. He emerged from the trees and had three mutants on both of his sides. So he was in the middle.

I think this guy is on the weird side. Like I mean look at what this guy is wearing! He is wearing a purple tux and white dress shoes. Also his hair was flipped to one side and an ombre blonde. He was also wearing sunglasses with two necklaces and four rings. He also had a cane with a huge diamond on the top. This guy is definitely interesting to look at. Even when he talked.

"So you dogs are trying to save a little girl? Well you definitely aren't gonna get to her as long as I'm here!" He said snapping his fingers.

"Wanna make a bet on that? I will rip you in two you low life creep!!!!!" I started growling and getting angry. No one is gonna stop me from getting Mia back.

"Yes a wager would be nice. Look into my eyes and I'll show you what you should do about this 'situation' ." He said to Kylie. It's weird. She did as she was told then after she looked into his eyes, she walked over to him and his mutants. The turned towards us. She had red eyes now instead of her chestnut brown. Then she started growling and running at us.

"Hahaha enjoy being a chew toy, you filthy animals!" He laughed and disappeared into the trees with his mutants while we were stuck with a red eyed, peach color, wolf named Kylie. What did he mean by 'chew toy'? Then after staring at Colt and I for what seems like forever, she was running us.

"Kylie snap out of it!" I barked.

"I'm not gonna hurt you! I refuse!" Snarled Colt.

"Well, that's too bad. Because I want to hurt you!" Then she pounced on me.
(Note that this scene when they're fighting they are both in wolf form.)She sunk her teeth into my neck. I whined. Then I threw her off of me and I growled. I leaped at her and landed on her back. Then I started clawing at the back of her head hoping that it would knock the reality back into her. Just as I planned after I clawed the second time she fell flat. I made sure that I wasn't sinking my claws into her snout. I was just hitting her with my paw so I wouldn't hurt her that bad. She started whining. I instantly transformed back into human form and ran over to her.

"Oh my god, Kylie are you okay? Did I hurt you badly?" I started freaking. Colt was still in wolf form making sure that if she wanted to attack, he would pounce.

"No...but my face hurts." She got up and transformed back. So did Colt.

"Sorry. But you went crazy on me, right after you looked into that guys eyes. It was like he told you to kill me and you obeyed." I said still shaken at the situation.

"Oh. My. God. Really? I did that? I'm so sorry." She replied in shock. I gave her a hug.

"It wasn't your fault. He manipulated you. There's no shame there." I said still hugging her. We pulled away.

"Alright now that that's over, do you guys want to head towards New York now?" Said Colt transforming.

"Yea that would smart. So we don't have to keep running into who knows what." I said also transforming. As well did Kylie. Then we started running again. I still wonder though...who was that guy? And how did he do that?
