~Alejandra POV~
I slowly open my eyes to see my head buried into someone's chest. I soon realize it's just Vincent. Today is the day. Today is the day Vincent will shift, and know I'm his other half. I can't wait. Wait isn't today his birthday too? He's finally 15. Well I turned 15 on January 3. It's July 23. So he's a little younger. It's fine.
"Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to youuuu
Happy Birthday dear Vincent,
Happy Birthday to you." I sing softly into his ear. I see a smile begin to spread across his face.
"You remembered?" He said opening up his crystal blues eyes.
"Of course. Today is also the day you shift. Now you'll be able to know how I feel every time my skin brushes yours, every time I think about your smile, every time when were together and apart." I say hugging him. He hugs me back.
"Baby, I already know. Your all I ever think about. You are all I ever want to be around. You are my other half. Your my moon to my night. I love you with all my soul. " I smile and shed a tear.
"I love you too. We should probably get going before the others get worried." I say pulling away from his hug.
"Whatever you say gorgeous." He winks and stands up. I forgot we were on the roof of a building. I'm still in my short dress...whoops.
So I head over to the ladder and begin to head down. Vincent is right behind me.
When we reach the ground, Vincent holds me close and we walk to the Pack House. When I walk in, I see Alpha Hunter. He shoots his head our way and has a disapproving face.
"What are you doing? You can't be dating anyone. You have your shift in 3 hours. You're going to find your mate, so you can't be in a relationship." He says walking over to us. He pulls Vincent away from me and puts his arm around his shoulder.
"You see son..." Alpha Hunter said as they walk off to the backyard. Okay, just leave me alone like that then. As I turn around to head to my room, I see Kylie sitting on the couch. I head over to her and sit down.
"Hey, what's up girly?" I ask.
"Nothing. Just thinking."
"Thinking about what? You seem a little down." She wipes a falling tear from her cheek.
"Nothing." She sniffles.
"That tear doesn't make me believe you." I say pulling her in for a hug. She hugs back tightly and then breaks into tears.
"Kylie, what's wrong tell me please." I beg continuing to hug her.
"I've been getting bullied. All the other young boys and girls tease me for being different." She sobbed even harder. I feel really bad.
"Don't listen to them Kylie. Just because you're different, doesn't mean you're not beautiful. It means your unique. All those other werewolves are normal werewolves. You were given these powers. Even if it wasn't your choice. Kylie, don't let what they say bother you because it's not true. All the mean names will never be true. You are one of the most kindest, sweetest, beautiful, and independent 13 year old I've ever met, okay? So stay you, don't change for them." She stops crying and pulls away to look me in the eyes. They're red and filled with sadness. But slowly, it drifts away and they become flooded with hope and happiness. She cracks a little smile and wipes the remaining tears on her face, away.
"Thank you Alex. You're right. I shouldn't listen to what they say. They don't know me personally. So they don't know how wrong they are." She jumps up off the couch and smiles her beautiful smile. She giggles a little, then heads outside. I can't believe people would make fun of her. I might have to talk to Vincent about this. He is going to be alpha soon anyways.
