Chapter 13 : : Kidnapped..

~Nikkys POV~ I know first chapter with Nikky and Gaze! I forgot about them for awhile...whoops

"Hey Gaze, you want something to eat? I'm making PB&J sandwiches." I yelled from the kitchen. After we're done eating I'm gonna practice my flying skills. I haven't really practiced without Alex here. I miss them a lot.

"Yea sure! Thanks!" Gaze yelled back as he sat on the couch and started reading a book. He doesn't seem like the one to read but when you're out in the middle of the woods with no electricity, reading seems "fun".

So I grab the peanut butter out of the cabinet and set it on the counter. I then walk back over to the cabinet and take out the jelly and again set it on the counter. I open up both jars and set the lids down. I grab the butter knife out of the drawer. I smear the peanut butter and jelly on all the slices of bread. I put them on plates and take them out to the living room.

"Thanks Nikky!" He said as he was taking a bite into the sandwich.

"Your welcome." I say as I also take a bite out of my sandwich.

So after we finish our sandwiches we head out to the woods and get into a clearing so I can have room to practice flying. Gaze is a wolf so he can't fly. Which is unfortunate because we could fly together and cause mischief. His wolf is brown with green eyes. It looks sick. Anyways as we walk to the clearing, I take off my jacket and shake my shoulders so my 10ft wing span opens.

"Holy smokes....that looks...AWESOME DUDE!" Yelled Gaze as he gave me a high five. I high fived back.

"Thanks man. It would be cooler if my wings were black but I guess brown is okay." I say to him hanging my head low off my shoulders.

"No bro! Your wings are hella sick brown! Why would you wan to change them?" He asked with hi head tilted and a blank face.

"I don't know. I thought it might make me look cooler." I replied feeling kinda sad.

"Dude, you're already as cool as it gets. No need to feel down about yourself." Gaze said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Gaze. Now, wanna see me try to fly?" I said getting in my running stance.

"Yea! 1.    2.    3.   GO!" Gaze yelled.

When Gaze yelled go, I went running as fast as I could and I jumped. I started flapping my wings as hard as I can. All I see is Gaze getting smaller and smaller. I hear a faint voice come to me.

"YOU LOOK AWESOME BRO!!!!" I hear Gaze yell as I hover just above the redwood trees.

"THANKS BRO! IM COMING BACK DOWN!!" I yell back cupping my hands over my mouth.

So I slowly descend from the sky by flapping my wings downward instead of upwards. Then I decided it was going to slow. So I tuck my wings in and dive head first towards the ground. The air felt amazing in my face.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU'RE CRAZY!! PUT YOUR WINGS OUT! PUT YOUR WINGS OUT!!!!" He yelled over and over.

I know I was scaring him but it was fun. So when I reach about 100 feet from the ground, I snap my wings out and fly down. Te first thing I did as I reached the ground was pull my wings in and try to stand. Flying was the most exciting and adrenaline rushing thing to ever do.

"NIKKY WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!? YOU COULD'VE DIED IF YOU DIDN'T PULL OUT YOUR WINGS IN TIME! DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!" Gaze yells at me tackling me to the ground.

"Sorry but I was going to slow just descending down. So I decided to just drop. And trust me I wouldn't die flying. Flying is now something I'm gonna work on mastering." I say proudly as I was pushing him off of me.

"Okay I trust you. Just please tell me that you're gonna do that before you do it. You know, so I know that your not gonna die." He replied to me as he was getting up from the ground and dusting himself off.

"Okay I will. I promise." I say getting up as well as also dusting off the dirt.

So after that I do more test flights and successfully take off and land. I'm getting used to this whole flying thing without Alex. I do miss her a lot. I wonder when she's gonna be back. My thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.

"Aww how sweet. Brotherly love. Too bad it has to come to an end. We're going to do this the hard way, or the easy way. Which do you choose?" A man with a purple suit, two necklaces, and a cane. He had an aumbre blonde hair. It was flipped to the right side of his head. I think it was a comb over. But either way he looked weird.

"First who are you? And how did you find us?" I growled snapping my wings out ready to fly. Gaze was already transformed into his brown wolf and ready to rip anything in his way apart.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself properly did I? I'm King B. I found you by using my mutants sense of smell. Also they recently kidnapped a small girl from here. They said not everyone left from this residence so I came by to check it out. And here you are." King B pronounced sassily.

"YOU TOOK MIA?! I'm gonna wish you were never born you ugly piece of crap!" I yelled. I went to go punch him in the face using my super speed. I managed to clip in the right jaw. He fell and hit the ground. He got up really quick and held his hand out. As soon as he did that I stopped in mid air. I couldn't move.

"Do you want the hard way? Fine. I tried to be nice about it but you kids don't want to listen." King B said fiercely. He held out both hands and took me and Gaze in the air. Gaze was still in wolf form and I still had my wings out. King B slammed us against the ground. I could feel my lip bleeding. Then after getting slammed, one of those mutants tucked my wings in and tied them with a rope. Then tapped my wrists together with duct tape. I opened my eyes and saw one of the 4 mutants go over to Gaze and inject him with something. I saw Gaze flinch and then shift into human form. He just laid there and didn't move. They came over to me and picked me up so I was sitting down on the floor. They picked me up off the floor and Gaze. They carried us about 100 feet away and put us into a plane. We were strapped into the seat so we couldn't  get out and try to escape. We then were on the plane for about 3 hours. We stopped and went into a building. The mutants stuck us into a room that was quite small. They took office tape and rope. They took off the tape but put a bracelet on Gaze. I think it is meant to stop him from shifting. They then threw us on to the bed. They closed and locked the door behind them. I just laid there. I didn't want to move. My body is in so much pain I can barely move. Then from what I can remember, before drifting off to sleep the pain away, a man walked in. He was talking to the mutants and King B.

"It was a success. We did have to injure them a bit to make them more cooperative. But they will be okay in a few hours. We injected them with a drug to make them not as aware. It's not harmful just makes them sleepy." King B said standing proudly.

"Perfect. As long as you didn't mess up their blood or DNA, everything is okay. We need to get every drop of DNA and blood. We're gonna get plenty from the little girl and little boy. But extra never hurt no one. So now all we have to do is wait for the other kids to come" the man in the suit said. Was he talking about Mia? Is she here?

I couldn't take the pain anymore so I knocked out. I couldn't remember anything after that. But what I do know, is that Mia is here and I have to find her.
