Cecilia's POV"Cecilia..." Poke.
"Cecilia..." Poke. Who is poking me?
"Cecilia..." Poke. Whoever it is will loose a hand if they won't stop.
"CECILIA WAKE UP!!!!" ... "Ow what was that for?!?!"
Who ever tried to wake me up just got hit with my pillow, this will teach them a lesson.
Why can't I have at least one peaceful and lazy morning? I think I may be cursed.. yup that must be it!!
"If you don't wake up, we can't have a longer training day today." Chase said. So it was he who tried to wake me up, I was supposed to train with him today. "How can one hit so hard with a pillow, seriously my cheek really hurts."
I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped. I turned around in my bed and opened my eyes to see Chase standing beside my bed in his work overall, pouting while holding his left cheek where he got the hit with my pillow. I started laughing harder.
"I'm glad that my pain amuses you." He said with a glare but he was still pouting so I just couldn't take him seriously and kept laughing. Chase does not look impressed.
"Aw Chase do you want me to kiss your cheek better" I coo at him with a baby voice as I stand up so I'm in front of him. I couldn't help but notice the height difference between us. He is so tall, I'm face-to-chest with him. I didn't actually take much notice to this before..
The smirk that slowly crawls onto his face snaps me out of my day dream. I may not have known Chase for too long but I know that, that smirk is never good.
"Well then I guess you should kiss it better... You know since you already offered and I wouldn't mind at all." He states with that annoying little smirk still on his face. Okay that smirk is not annoying at all, in fact it's quite nice. The way he lifts the corner of his mouth makes his one-sided dimple very visible. I bet that smirk made a lot of girls weak in the knees, making them fall for his charms. Am I one of them? I hope not.
"What's wrong Cecilia? Cat got your tongue?"
Damn it!! I really should learn not to zone out at moments like these!! How come everything I do backfires all the time? Especially when I'm teasing someone, they turn the situation around so fast I almost get a whiplash.
"Nope, I was just wondering how one can be so... incredibly... amazingly... stupid." I said playfully to Chase while grinning at him. I know, a pretty bad come back but he seemed to find it funny because he started laughing.
"Well I was just putting it out there that whenever you feel the need to kiss me, which you definitely feel, you can." he states with a cheeky grin still on his face. I on the other hand am not amused one bit.
"I'm worried that one day your ego is going to be so big, you won't be able to fit in a car." I point out with an attitude.
He fake gasps putting a hand over his heart, as if he was offended. "It's in fact very healthy to have an ego and confidence, cupcake. Besides I was just stating the obvious."
I could only register the fact that he called me cupcake. Why would someone call another cupcake? That's just probably the weirdest pet name anyone could think of, in my opinion. Although I don't want to cause a scene about how much it affected me.
"Whatever. Do you mind telling me the reason you are here? I mean the purpose of your presence is hopefully not to annoy me, right?" I asked, being sarcastic.
"I just came to tell you that we are going to train for the whole day today as we missed yesterday. With The Championships right around the corner we need all the time we can get." Chase answered, surprisingly seriously. "And... I also came to annoy you." Nevermind.
