Cecilia's POV
A morning has never been so painful in my life.
Literally everything hurts.
Yesterday was my first day of training with Chase and I can now feel every muscle in my body.. and it's really weird. I never even knew I had this much muscles.
I have decided it's best if I sleep in today because if I don't I know I would end up shouting at everyone while walking around like a zombie. But of course whenever I plan on sleeping in, something always comes in my way of falling into the blissful oblivion. This time it was my phone.
After slapping my hand on my small night stand repeatedly I finally found the annoying ringing device. Without checking who it is, I blindly answered the call.
"What" I answered in a sleepy annoyed voice while rubbing my eyes with my free hand trying to wake myself up.
"Cecilia? It's Peter"
Peter? Who the hell is Peter? How dare Peter wake me up! Do I even know a Peter?
Wait I do know a Peter... And his voice does sounds familiar... Crap!! That's my boss from the bar!
"Oh.. Umm sorry sir.. How can I help you?" I say feeling really awake all of a sudden.
"Sorry for bothering you at this hour but I would like you to come into work tonight. I know it's a weekday and your day off but there is a big game on tonight and we are expecting most of the town's population to be here." he explained.
Are you serious? I was supposed to have my first car training with Chase today. But I do need the money and I don't want to lose my job.
"Okay sir I will be there at normal time?" I tried to say but it came out as a question rather than a statement.
"Yes normal time. Thank you Cecilia, bye"
"Bye" and with that I hung up and glanced at the time on my phone.
7:30am. Why on earth would someone wake me up at this illegal hour?!?!
You know what? I'm just going to go back to sleep for another little while and then I'll get up and do something extra productive. This means I will lie on the couch and watch Once Upon A Time while I block the world out with Ben&Jerry. Yup sounds like a plan!
10 minutes later...
"CECILIA!!!!!!!!!!"
My eyes shoot open in alarm and I can't help but want to punch the source of the annoying voice calling my name. When can I have just a little peace for a little while?
I slowly sit up in my bed as my muscles are still protesting and wait for whoever is calling me to get to my room. Sure enough Caleb, Chase and Vic burst into my bedroom almost falling on the floor as they swing the door wide open. They look way too excited...
"Guess what?!?" Caleb screams.
"You finally grew a pear and confessed your love to Lily?" I smirk sleepily.
"No! Stop it! Not yet! I mean... ummm... you know what I will just sit down now." He says as he walks over to the navy office chair beside my desk and plops down grumpily and starts pouting. Meanwhile, Chase and Vic still look as excited as ever.
"So what's happening?" I ask as I yawn.
"Do you want to tell her or shall I?" Chase asks Vic, still smiling.
"Well you are her lover boy so you should do the honours--" Slap "OWWW!!!"
I can't help the blush that creeps on my face. Lover boy?
