Chapter 4: Hollywood

Wow.I'm in Hollywood.This is so crazy...

I walk out of the plane with my bags and walk towards the exit only to find that I don't have a ride.I stopped walking and called a cab.

I got off the phone and continued to walk towards the exit before I discovered that there was a Starbucks there.

I walked over and ordered a low-fat pumpkin latte with whip and got out my wallet while they prepared my order.

I payed and thanked them.Then I walked towards the huge doors that led outside.The cab was already there waiting for me.

I quickly put my bags in the trunk and got in careful not to make the driver wait on me more.

I told him the address of the hotel I'm staying at and he starts driving.

I pull out my phone and decide to text Jon.

Me: Hey Jon, just got in the cab, driving to the hotel.

He replied almost immediately.

Jon: Good, have fun, and I love you sis!

Me: Love you too bro!

Then I texted Lydia.

Me: Hey Pooch!Driving to the hotel now, what are you doing?=)

Lydia: Nothing, just doing some homework.

Me: Sorry to bother you!Bye!

Lydia: It's okay, bye Poochie!;)

The driver pulls into the parking lot of the hotel and sits there. It takes me a couple minutes to figure out what he's waiting for.

"Oh!Sorry, here you go!" I say as I hand him the cash.

He gets out to help me with my bags.

"Thanks," I say when he finishes.

I wave as he drives away.He sticks his hand out of the window to wave back.

I walk into the huge lobby of the hotel and go to the front desk.

"Name?" The lady sitting there asks.

"Angela Miller."

"Ah, here you are." She says after typing my name into the computer sitting in front of her.

She hands me my room key and gives a warm smile.

"American Idol?" She asks.

"Yes." I say, a little uneasy.

"Don't worry," she says,"You'll do great."

I smile as she says this.I sure hope so.
