Yesterday

Chapter 14: Yesterday

It was Beatles Week.I am SO excited to be singing Yesterday. Today I'm going to the studio to meet with Jimmy.

When I got there, he had me go ahead and record it, so he could tell me what to work on.

I sang the song, and exited the small room when I was done.

"It may seem like I picked on you in the last two shows," he started,"But you are so good, you have such natural, raw talent, I just want to get to that.Don't use this," he said, pointing to his head,"Use this." He said, now pointing to his heart.

I understood what he was saying.I just need to keep it simple, and put the right amount of emotion into it.

Jimmy started again,"Sometimes people think that you have to put loud emotion into something, where other times, the power comes from your strength."

I thanked Jimmy and exited and went back to my hotel.I felt good, I just had to remember to do what Jimmy said.

I woke up and took a shower before going on twitter like every other morning.I checked the tweets from the dreamers, and they were amazing.

I was on my phone for an hour before I finally received the energy to get in the shower.The small beads of water massaged my muscles, relaxing me.

I went over to my suitcase, which I haven't bothered unpacking, since I don't know how long I'll be here.

I chose a cute black blouse with black jeans and with black shoes as well.I looked great.

I got to the venue in time for soundcheck, and was happy to practice the song one more time.

The show started and I waited backstage.I was going first today, and was very excited.Ryan called my named to get up there, and I popped up from the couch that I was sitting on.

The other contestants wished me good luck, except for Curtis.He was voted off last week.

I thanked them and walked quickly to catch up with Ryan.I got to my position with a single microphone stand in the middle of the stage.

I stood there and waited for the video to stop playing, which contained of my conversation with Jimmy yesterday.

Then I heard the music.I began to sing:

"Yesterday; all my troubles seemed so far away.

Now they seem as though they're here to stay, oh I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly; I'm not half the girl I used to be.

There's a shadow hanging over me, oh yesterday, came suddenly.

Why he had to go, I don't know!

He wouldn't say.

I said something wrong!

And now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday!

Yesterday was such an easy, game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.

Oh I believe, in yesterday."

I got good feedback, and felt good.I saw my best friend,Lydia in the crowd and smiled.I haven't seen her in a long time.

We hung out for a little bit after the show.I missed her so much and was so glad to be able to see her tonight.

OKAY, SO A LITTLE CHANGE IN PLANS.

I AM NO LONGER MAKING YOU GUYS GET 50 MORE READS BEFORE I POST THE NEXT CHAPTER.

I ONLY DID THAT TO GET MORE READS AND I HAVE ALMOST 800.

I AM BAFFLED BECAUSE YESTERDAY (Ha!) I HAD LESS THAN 600, GO ON LATER THAT DAY, AND HAVE OVER 700.

PLUS, IT WAS HARD TO HAVE TO WRITE THE CHAPTERS IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME, SOOO....
