Journal,

Good morning old friend! Again just kidding, we just met and it's not morning either. It's like 2 in the afternoon and I literally got up from my comfortable position on the couch with Skye just to write. I guess this whole thing is working.

The reason I did that was because I needed to write down the conversation that was just held. I guess I'll just write it out. To make it clear for future me, my "voice" is pen and my little kitten's "voice" will be in pencil.

"Baby, do you love me?"
"Well of course, why wouldn't I?" I laughed, pulling her closer.
"I don't know- it's just a thought I guess."
"Hey let's not be insecure about our relationship, okay baby-boo?"
"I just, I don't know. You know how I am." She sighed into my shoulder.
"Now my turn for a question." Placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"What is it?"
"If we were to have kids, would we tell them about today's us?" Interlacing her hand in mine.
"I mean we would have to be married first, you know the rule. But yeah definitely." She laughs that adorable laugh, putting her cute little dimples on display.
"Well, it's settled then. They'll know all about their parents' first date- where their mommy was too stupid and didn't bring a jacket in the middle of October." I joked.
"Hey that was one time, I swear."
"Yeah, yeah whatever," I mumbled, flicking through the channels on the tv.
"You really think we'll get married and have kids?" She asked, snuggling into me.
"Oh, I know baby."

So remember when I said that Skye's the one. Only more validation. It would be cool if I keep this thing through all these years and give it to her as a wedding present. Look at me- always thinking about the future. Well, I would write more but the "wife" is calling. So I gotta go.
