It was currently eleven o'clock at night in the Curtis household and Ponyboy was in dreamland. Or nightmare land.

Ponyboys POV
It was dark. I couldn't see anything but then I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned around only to come face to face with my parents. "You killed us" they started. "And you'll kill them." Tears burned my eyes and ended up rolling down my cheeks. "No" I said or whispered. "No" it was all I Could say. "Goodbye Ponyboy. You have no right to be a Curtis."

I woke up crying. "Ponyboy?" I heard Soda mumble. "It's my fault." He knew exactly what I was saying. "Ponyboy Curtis it wasn't your fault and it never will be." He said and hugged me closer to his chest. "I killed them." I sniffled. "It's my fault." "Pony I-" "Stop! You know it's my fault! I'm the one who said they should have a night out!" (A/N I know this might have not happened but I made it up ;) I yelled. Then Darry rushed in the room. "What's wrong?" Darry asked concern. "Ponyboy has himself convinced that he's the reason mom and dad died.

  I saw a flash of sadness go through Darrys eyes but that was it. "Ponyboy how could you think that?" He came over to sit on the bed and put a hand on my shoulder. "I'm the one who told them they should go out  the night." I whimpered. "Hon you know that's not true. And I'm sure they would never blame you." He said in a soft voice. "Dar it's true I killed them and they blame me!" I cried and then started to sob. Darry pulled me into his lap and Soda hugged me to so I was in the middle of them. "Shh it's okay your okay." Soda said stroking my hair. "I'm sorry." I whispered. "For what?" Darry asked confused. "For waking you up, for having nightmares...everything" "no baby it's okay you have nothing to be sorry for." Soda said. "Don't leave me like they did don't die because of me." I clung onto both of them and didn't let go. "We aren't going anywhere." "Yeah Pony not even death can separate us."
