Today I watched the seniors on our team graduate. It's going to be really weird not seeing them at school next year. Carrie got a job with the Dallas Stars as their GM's assistant. Brittany Baker got the same job as Carrie, but with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Katie Nielson also got the same job as Carrie, but with the Ottawa Senators. Kaitlyn Miller and Jessica DeMarcus both got jobs as music producers, and Kira Addington got a job working in management for Hunter Hayes.
After the ceremony, we all went back to our coaches house for a party. All the seniors gave speeches about their experiences playing for he Badgers. I'll never forget having these girls as teammates. They all made us younger students feel at home because we don't as much experience being away from home as they do.
Not too long after I left, I got a call from Cody. I said "Hey Cody, I'm sorry I missed your call earlier." He replied "It's ok, I was just wondering how you were doing." Cody is so sweet. He always calls to see how I am doing. That's one of the many things that I love about him. I answered him by saying "I'm alright. Long day." and he replied "Well just know that I'm always one phone call away if you need anyone to talk to." The moment he said that, a huge smile came across my face . Cody Eakin always knows how to put a smile on my face.
