Flashback- Move out day
Today was the day that I got home from school. Cody was the one that helped me move out of my dorm and back home with my family. Once we got all my stuff packed and in my car, I said goodbye to my roommate Anna and her sister Carrie, and Carrie's fiancé Jamie.
I'm so happy for Carrie and Jamie. I could see how much those two love and care about each other. I hope I can find someone who loves me as much as Jamie loves Carrie.
On the ride home Cody and I were talking about random stuff when he decided to change the subject.
C: Allie, I have question.
A: What is it?
C: would you like to go on a date with me
I mentally screamed and replied " I would love to" as I kissed his cheek.
Present day-Date night
Today was a nerve racking day because of the fact that it was date night for Cody and I. I was so nervous for the date because of the fact that it was my first date since high school.
When it came time for me to get ready for my date with Cody, I called my cousin Sierra up to my room to help because she was visiting.
A: Sierra can you come here
S: sure... oh my gosh! You look beautiful.
A: Really? *looks in mirror*
It soon came time for Cody to pick me up. As soon as I heard the doorbell ring, my mom opened the door and said "Cody, come on in. Allie, Cody's here." I looked in the mirror one last time to make sure I looked ok. Once I was done looking in the mirror, I walked downstairs.
As soon as I got downstairs, I walked into the living room where Cody was waiting with my family.
D: You look beautiful Allie A: Thank you dad *hugs dad*
Cody and I left a few minutes later. As soon as we got in his car, he could tell that I was nervous. He looked at me and said "Don't be nervous Allie. I'm right here." I replied "I know. It's just, this is my first date since High school." The look on his face went from concerned to pissed in about two seconds as he thinks about what happened between my ex-boyfriend and I.
I'll never forget what happened either. I was going over to Zach's house after work, and as soon as I got there I went up to his room. I heard moaning coming from his room. As soon as I opened the door, I yelled at Zach and told him we were over. He called me a slut and told me that he never loved me. I ran out of his house crying. As soon as I got in my car, I drove to Cody's.
My thoughts were interrupted by Cody shutting off his car. He told me that we had arrived at the restaurant. Once we got in, Cody and I were taken to our table that he had reserved for us.
We ordered our food and drinks, but we had to wait forever for our food to come. To pass the time while we waited, we talked about anything and everything. Cody looked at me and said "Allie, I have something to tell you. I have loved you since the moment I met you, but you were still a teenager. So, I knew I couldn't act on my feelings yet. I get it if you don't feel the same way."
I looked at him and replied "Cody, I love you too. I have for a while. You have always been there for me when I needed a friend. When I broke up with Zach, you let me stay in your guest room and cry on your shoulder. Cody asked "Allie, will you be my girlfriend?" and I replied "I would love to be your girlfriend." He leaned over the table and kissed me on the lips.
As soon as our food and drinks came, we ate in silence. The silence was a comfortable silence because I could finally call Cody Eakin mine. I'm happy that I finally get to call Cody my. boyfriend.
When we got back to my house, Cody walked with me to the front door. He said "I had a great time tonight" and I replied "me too." I kissed him on the lips. He looked at me and said "Goodnight Allie. I love you." I replied "I love you too Cody. Goodnight."

Long Chapter, I know. When I wrote this in my notebook, I had one of those moments where I can't stop writing in chapters that weren't intended to be that long.
